the differnce is they will use the new file system like cmdrtaco uses a 12 inch black dildo, to screw everyone they get their hands on in the ass. While I have the option to use NTFS, I can still use Fat32. I am suggesting that they will make sure that backwards compatibility is not an option next time around. No more FAT32, etc.

Hopefully it will also have DRM built in so they can tell me what media I can use on my harddrive and some obsure security features that will be easily broken but will make interoperability impossible - with the added bonus of DMCA violations for anyone who tries to make tools that have to break the security features to work.

How about spending 900 on a prebuilt PC with all that stuff and a usable OS, then a few hundred more for some of the easily found wireless connectors from the pc to your stereo. Now you have the same thing, plus a few hundred left to go get some hookers, coke, and a donkey.

tool - blizard does not want ANYONE to be able to play their games online if they have not purchased a copy - thus they check the CD key when you login to their online service. If someone facilitates playing online without checking that CDkey, then all the smelly linux hippies who refuse to pay for software and all the warez d00ds can pirate their software can play online. Do you believe they would allow the same smelly linux hippies who want to steal their software to have access to their CDkey validation data? Do you think they would allow someone else to make money off their service? It does not matter whether it is open sores or not - they don't want someone to be able to play online unless they have purchased the software - and they have choosen to verify that through their servers. If anything, a commerical company that was doing this would have been sued MORE quickly than a bunch of open sores linux hippies. At least they could get some money from a real company.

+RW is better - has packet writing and some other advantages that make it faster and better. But it lacked DVD+R ability - until now. +RW and -RW don't play well with a lot of legacy DVD players, so having DVD+R is pretty critical. You will see the few HP DVD100's left on sale soon to make room for these new ones.

The trolls sailed the sea to find a place to call their own.
In their ship Gayflower, They hoped to find a better home.
They finally knocked on Adequacy And someone said, "We're there!
It may not look to gay, But at this point I don't care."

Oh, they were missin' Mother Slashdot They swore their loyalty until the very end.
"Anything you say Rob, it's okay Rob, You know it's kind of scary on your own.
Gonna build a new site the way we planned would you help us run it till we're blown?"

They planted pr0n you know, They cleaned their asses one by one.
And bit by bit they worked Until their colons were done.
They looked around, yeah, up and down, and someone said, "Hurray!
If the Rob could only see us now, He would be tossing off today."

They knew that now they'd run their own site, But Rob the Turd still vowed
He'd ream them in their ends. "Anything I say, do it my way now,
Anything I say do it my way. Don't you get to feelin' independent,
Cause I'm gonna force you to obey."
He modbombed their asses, He didn't give them any choice.
And back in Slashdot, He didn't give them any voice.
(That's called moderation without representation, and it's not fair.)
But when the trolls complained, The Rob said, "I don't care!"

"He even has the nerve to mod our journals! To put it kindly Rob, we really don't agree.
Gonna show you how we feel, We're gonna dump these teabaggers...
And turn this site into The biggest bunch of teabaggers in history!"

They wanted no more Mother Slashdot. They knew the time had come for them to take command.
"It's very clear you're being unfair, Rob, No matter what you say we won't obey.
Gonna hold a revolution now, Rob, And we're gonna run it all our way!"

With no more Robs... (We're gonna erect a penis bird!)
