There's a difference between forcing a service on people (public schools) and forcing a service to complete with another service (voucher systems). People should always have a choice.
They require him to get a vote in Congress IF THERE IS NO IMMEDIATE THREAT TO THE US. Hence why all the hot water in Libya and why Obama claimed he did not deploy troops there, since no troops were actually on the ground.
Any belief that forcing public schools on everyone is seriously misguided. Nothing ever gets better when it's forced on people. The best schools in the world are in Finland, where a voucher system forces public schools to compete with private schools.
EVERY person that wants to build a third party YouTube app for their device is required to do so using HTML5. This is not a requirement only forced on Microsoft. It's one of the reasons why there is no native app for the Roku, and why the Apple removed their YouTube app from iOS.
Microsoft is bitching about the same thing when it comes to their Calendar app on Windows Phone and Windows 8. They claim Google cut them off from ActiveSync and Google tells them to use Caldav. Well, even the upcoming Windows 8.1 release still doesn't use caldav. Microsoft has no interest in adding Caldav support to Windows. Caldav directly competes with Exchange calendar functionality. At one point (or maybe they already did), Microsoft was going to yank IMAP support from Exchange server. Their solution to server side mail was Exchange Server and Outlook Client.
This really is a classic case of Microsoft not wanting to implement open standards, because they compete with their proprietary business protocols.
Running the Youtube site on Android or iOS gives you an experience almost as good as the native app. It really isn't Youtube's fault that Microsoft ships an inferior browser with their product.
He's been saying all along that piracy is a distribution problem. And was using STEAM to fix that (and make a boatload of money too!)
Turns out he was right.
There was a huge stink back in the early 2000s, when Sting attempted to seize sting.com, a website that had been the front end from a success pest control business for a few years. The funny part was, the guy was more than willing to sell the name to Sting, but Sting never even approached him with an offer. He simply tried to take it to court.
Every new PC worldwide ships with Windows 8 on it. Consumers don't really have a choice. They get Windows 8 whether they like it or not. Even Vista's numbers looked good, even though people hated it.
And Windows 8 is far worse than Vista ever was. I like the desktop. I love Metro. The unhappy marriage of the two is exceptionally annoying.
Now that you've made myelin, how do you get it to stick to actual damaged neurons and/or brian cells. If you inject it in there, is it naturally just going to bind to damaged cells?
This would be a bigger deal if you couldn't sideload apps. If you're savvy enough to want an adblocker, then you're usually smart enough to root and sideload.
We don't need any of the above questions answered now. All we need to know is:
1. Should we be allowing this stuff into the food supply?
The answer clearly is NO. Once we get rid of it, then we can start to asses blame and sue Monsanto out of business.
Answering those questions first is like trying to assess blame for a fire while the house is still on fire.
Google (among other content providers), is the reason why anyone even gets Internet access. Imagine if Cable companies' TV service worked that way, and they attempted to charge the cable channels for access to their US households. How fast would their service fall apart? The Internet pipe I get from a telecom is WORTHLESS without Google, YouTube, Netflix and all those other services. They should be glad Google doesn't charge THEM for access to Google.
That is true. But the group that pirates and never purchases will NEVER purchase once cut off from illegal content. They'll just go get it from the library and rip it/copy it.
The physical media loophole will always be there.
What I find funny is that average "paranoid" pirate pays probably $15.00/month for Usenet, and $15.00/month for encrypted VPN. Most of these people would probably happily $30/month to Netflix or a service like it, if it had everything available.
You know it didn't. The people pirating stuff will ALMOST NEVER buy the content if they can't get it for free. In other news, Libraries have seen a massive increase in requests for library cards...
Cause my coworker didn't just check his Comcast account and see that he downloaded 420 GB of stuff in November. Way to go Justice Department. The 10 people that were downloading blu-ray rips from Megaupload all went to Bittorrent.
I don't believe anyone will give me better service than Verizon. I expect them to give me the same crappy service Verizon gives me at a better price. The iPhone is for my wife. That's why I am waiting for the iPhone 5. I'm hopping on a Galaxy Nexus. The fact that Verizon was the ONLY carrier that released the Galaxy S III with a locked boot loader tells me that Verizon is a company that I don't want to stick with any more.
To upgrade my phone now requires me to get into a plan that's going to cost me $30 more a month. If I switch to AT&T, I can get a plan that's $30 cheaper than I am paying now.
So. has TOR now been permanently compromised?
Well, since iTunes Radio only works on Apple Devices, and Pandora works everywhere, I would not be too worried.

If Congress didn't vote deploy troops, he can't do it. The situation in Syria is not an immediate threat to the US.

LiveDrive? Or the Windows 8 version... WhyDrive?

I hope China denies the request. It's really scary when whistle blowers will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

So, can I still go to Comixology.com and buy and then download it to my iPad? Is sale or availability being blocked?
Use Gnote. Tomboy ported to C++ with no mono dependencies.

Replace the word Java with Windows and re-read. Oddly accurate, no?

I really should have specified that I am waiting on the iPhone 5 for my wife. My plan it to use a rooted Galaxy Nexus.
