  1. what luck! on Programming Until Retirement? · · Score: 5, Funny

I've just started my own hitman business, and could really use the work! Right now, my equipment is limited to a fairly sharp pencil, but I'm quite good with it!

Case in point: Montana's new Governor, Brian Schweitzer. He actually managed to win with vague promises that he "has a plan for Montana" and branding his opponent as a "career politician" in such a tone and with such an expression on his face as to imply without actually hitting the slander-mark that his opponent must therefore be corrupt and just-plain-evil. That's right folks... experience makes you LESS fit for the job.

It's "due consideration" actually. IANALE, but unless system updates are specifically mentioned as a duty of MS in the original EULA, I'd think that the update itself would qualify as due consideration for the user. Don't agree to the new terms? Don't install the update.

Of course, one wonders what the actual cost to manufacture those $200.00 sunglasses actually was. I suspect that, even after paying to send new ones, the net profit to LL Bean was still nearly $200. (My point? Something that high-margin may not be the best example.)
