Maybe you should switch to a more interesting/ "easier" major? Don't be fooled by the peer pressure - if you're all taking a ball-breaking major, of course noone's going to want you to have an easy time of it. Seriously, even if you're in your 3rd (or hell, 4th. Might as well cut your losses) year. Philosophy and Sociology are fantastic majors for opening your mind, I hear.
A stick, a stone,It's the end of the road,It's the rest of the stump,It's a little alone
It's a sliver of glass,It is life, it's the sun,It is night, it is death,It's a trap, it's a gun
The oak when it blooms,A fox in the brush,The knot in the wood,The song of a thrush The wood of the wind,A cliff, a fall,
A scratch, a lump,It is nothing at all It's the wind blowing free,It's the end of the slope,
It's a beam, it's a void,It's a hunch, it's a hope And the river bank talks Of the waters of March, It's the end of the strain, It's the joy in your heart
The foot, the ground,The flesh and the bone, The beat of the road,A slingshot stone
A fish, a flash,A silvery glow, A fight, a bet,The range of the bow
The bed of the well,The end of the line, The dismay in the face,It's a loss, it's a find
A spear, a spike,A point, a nail, A drip, a drop,The end of the tale
A truckload of bricks In the soft morning light, The shot of a gun In the dead of the night
A mile, a must, A thrust, a bump, It's a girl, it's a rhyme, It's a cold, it's the mumps
The plan of the house, The body in bed, And the car that got stuck, It's the mud, it's the mud
A float, a drift, A flight, a wing, A hawk, a quail, The promise of spring
And the riverbank talks Of the waters of March, It's the promise of life It's the joy in your heart
A snake, a stick, It is John, it is Joe, It's the thorn in your hand, And a cut in your toe
A point, a grain, A bee, a bite, A blink, a buzzard, A sudden stroke of night
A pin, a needle, A sting, a pain, A snail, a riddle, A wasp, a stain
A pass in the mountains, A horse and a mule, In the distance the shelves Rode three shadows of blue
And the riverbank talks Of the waters of March, It's the promise of life In your heart, in your heart
A stick, a stone, The end of the load, The rest of the stump, A lonesome road
A sliver of glass, A life, the sun, A night, a death, The end of the run
And the riverbank talks Of the waters of March, It's the end of all strain, It's the joy in your heart.
"Is Your Love Strong Enough? " From the soundtrack to the movie "Legends" Tangerine Dream (and Bryan Ferry on vocals)
Just one step at a time And closer to destiny I knew at a glance There'd always be a chance for me With someone I could live for Nowhere I would rather be
Is your love strong enough Like a rock in the sea Am I asking too much Is your love strong enough?
Just one beat of your heart And stranger than fantasy I knew from the start It had to be the place for me Someone that I would die for There's no way I could ever leave

Aren't those the anti-capitalists that are protectionist FUCKS, excluding Canadians from selling to Amerikkkans but letting them bid on overpriced, shit quality US goods?
Object oriented languages are known for promoting code reuse. Perl is known for promoting sucking your ballz. We should ditch that shit all quick-like.
Sorry, you're an American , not a Canadian, and it's perfectly obvious. Why don't you go back to mutilating your boys genitals or killing Muslims, Amerikkkan. Fawking trolls!
You actually get *gasp* money if you work at McDonalds. And on a resume, what's going to look better, "unpaid wire jockey at UnheardOfCompany" or "Worked at McDonalds." HR is going to mentally eliminate "unpaid wire jockey at UnheardOfCompany", don't you think?

It seems like it gives you the classes/methods you should use. I see this makes judging it simpler, but it seems sort of like CS 101 projects on a time limit.
TopCoder is designed to get the college-level programmers who are simultaneously good coders and incredibly naive individuals.
They're just grist for the mill. It's a shame they're too ignorant not to see it.

Baby's on fire
Better throw her in the water
Look at her laughing
Like a heifer to the slaughter
Baby's on fire
And all the laughing boys are bitching
Waiting for photos
Oh the plot is so bewitching
Rescuers row row
Do your best to change the subject
Blow the wind blow blow
Lend some assistance to the object
Photographers snip snap
Take your time she's only burning
This kind of experience
Is necessary for her learning
If you'll be my flotsam
I could be half the man I used to
They said you were hot stuff
And that's what baby's been reduced to
Juanita and Juan
Very clever with maracas
Making their fortunes
Selling secondhand tobaccoes
Juan dances at Chico's
And when the clients are evicted
He empties the ashtrays
And pockets all that he's collected
But baby's on fire
And all the instruments agree that
Her temperature's rising
But any idiot would know that
-"Baby's on Fire", Brian Eno

I hear Squeak is the 'every-man's Smalltalk.' Is it, or is it the 'Steve Jobs balls-sucking man's Smalltalk'?

This is terrible advice. McDonalds will look much better on your resume, AND you'll actually get paid.
No. Get a job at McDonalds so that you can put it on your resume. Get a reference once you're done there.
Do it. This isn't a suggestion, it's an order. Anything else is stupidity.
Looks like they're aiming high *coughs*
Wasn't Defender and Last Starfighter linked somehow?
Oops, too late. Fuckig loser, you've made your bed, now lie in it.
Tomorrow's word is PREMULTIPLIED. Yay.

The truth hurts, doesn't it?
Probably not, but software designers have a bad tendency of equating output colourspace to internal modification colourspace...
I hear Kathryn Thurber is looking for some new pandahuggles...

Close, but a Turing machine can have an alphabet with any number of characters, not just 0 and 1.
Without Gunhed, we wouldn't have Blazing Lazers. Anime is total shit, but it redeems itself for that reason alone :)
