Oh please. Most government heads and corporate execs are in the age of 40 to 55. This is not a generation that grew up with hi-tech toys and Internet. If anything they fear the 20 year old tech elite's today. Wait another decade and issues like "reading on paper" or "banning video games" will all fall off the plate.
I have a magazine here that talks about the battery life of the PSP. Sony knows that it's a consumer concern. The way to fix it is to implement games using some sort of close-media algorithm where it doesn't have to go far on the disk to find the next track. Therefore it spins alot less.
On record, Sony never had a failed console or system. They plan to keep it that way. Though this strategy probably won't affect 1st generation PSP games.
IBM was never a company that had financial issues. It may occasionally have operational issues. But overall it always had steady growth since the beginning of time.
The problem with IBM is the aweful culture, lack of innovation, creativity and just plain boring. Even these overplayed million-dollar-commercials nowadays put you to sleep.
The whole substance abuse illegalizing was setup so the US government can have a "secondary underground revenue stream". Classic conspiracy 101. The government has zero intention to benefit the people. If they did, they would ban laundry detergent and reclassify the 5 food groups.
The US government spends billions to stop trafficing, but hey... they make a cazillion underground. I believe* the recently caught columbian druglord made 8 billion a year. That made Bill Gates look poor.
Best game journalism comes from ebgames.com and amazon.com review posts. These are people who buy the game or tell you straight dirt or what sucks or broke.
Their messages are short to the point, and they review it for the love/hate of the product for no money. The reviews come from people of all backgrounds, sex, diversity, age etc. What journalism is more pure than that?
Mac users need to stop complaining about unequal treatment. PC users are pumping money into the PC gaming market left and right. Things are still broken all the time. Network problems, graphics card problems, install problems. You name it.
Please don't think PC users get the royal treatment. If it wasn't for the new Doom 3 and HL2, the PC gaming would have been virtually dead compared to the console market. Ah.... That's what Apple needs, their own console!
I have a real problem with the industry releasing everything on IDE. Is it me or is SCSI DVD drives obsolete. I have to go get a IDE-to-SCSI converter or something, and they are a rip off. There is not enough IDE channels to spare on any one motherboard.
Nah it doesn't work like that. Assume madden sucks even more next year and it bombs out. The company can still find budget from Lord of the Rings or Nascar games to finance future projects. That's why they are like another microsoft. EA is a monopoly that people can't shake off.
I bought ESPN NFL2k5 because of the $20 price introduction. I'll tell you right now, I am sold! Only thing better in Madden is that it keeps more stats.
I bought ESPN NBA2k5 because the Sega series has blown away every year of Live since 2001. I don't know about other consoles, but the online mode for PS2 was ridiculously good. That says something, considering I get my ass handed to me!
In both cases, the roster updates save me the hassle of updating. And I heard if you had the ESPN college games, you can import the players into the draft as rookies. I haven't tried this yet.
It was on some other site where I saw my first popup appear in firefox the other day. It was just a matter of time before firefox team needs to hit the firedrill again. Still far less than IE though.
So far I bought a number of PS2, PC games. But there are TOO MANY games, I can't play them all. Like most people, I'll wait till they get in the bargin bin. Why must every company release games at the same freaking time. You release a mega hit in June, NO ONE will wait till Christmas to buy it, everyone will buy it now.

Well Americans love working European companies in Europe. The concept of like 60 holidays a year is insane. U.S companies typically have about 8 holidays a year, less than anywhere else on the planet.
Sneak Peek tomorrow.... Segway and Equestrian and polo. Where you stand on the segway, and the segway sits on top of your horse saddle.

I don't know what's more embarrassing. To be caught going 100mph on the hightway or 0mph in the backseat in some empty supermarket parking lot.

Speaking of iPod and death. My 1 year old miniPod internal battery has died?! I recharge that thing regularly and it still does me no justice.

I always thought SecurID was the most inconvenient but effective system ever devised. That clocksync key chain was mind boggling.
Jesus I checked this price out. Is this legal? It's so mind boggling dirt cheap.

While I am a Sony fan, I'd have to admit they have the worst supply problem. They have never launched any consoles without serious shortages.
That has to be the number 1 druggy movie ever.
Can't wait till the day we download pictures 10 times the size of current mpegs. But hey, we can finally see all the hair!
We know one store is just as good as another if the songs are digital. The question is....
1.) Can they be cheaper than Apple at 99 cents with a product as good as iTunes.
2.) Can they be cheaper than Walmart at 88 cents period.
Thanks man. Seems like most of them have pdf links so you can permanently hang on to them forever.

Since this is opensource, I'd like to customize my characters to begin the adventure at level 99 with all stats maxed out.
HA! Conveniently my laptop came with a lead cup to protect from radiation and heat too.
Don't mention it, I tried Dragon Naturally speaking way back.
It interpreted "Open Explorer" to "Moment is poor".
