If any of them are bright, you can show them what they need to know pretty quick. Think about it, on-the-job training for a couple of weeks vs. not finding anyone for 6 months. Which one gets you results faster?

    My 2 cents:

Why did it bother to get C# implemented as an ECMA standard?

Government work requires that the language used is a standardized one.

Why does it help, instead of try and crush Mono?

In the eyes of MS, Mono is a toy to be tolerated until C# is entrenched in the market place and has a clear numerical superiority over Java. They can always kill it later.

Why does the API include Oracle functionality?

Because Oracle is a staple in the bussiness IT diet. Not to include it would hamper their efforts to replace Java.

I did this with "Betty La Fea". As a bonus, it was funny and entertaining. Spanish soaps arent like US soaps. They start, go for a while, and then FINISH. They're more like miniseries than anything else. Very elaborate and well done (most of them).

Plus the women are invariably hot.

Try "Amor Real", "Rubi", "Bety La Fea" (If you can find it)

Jirtle said his assertion that the IGF2R gene affects IQ is bolstered by experiments in mice. When he and his colleagues disabled a copy of the gene in lab mice - an experiment intended to mimic humans who inherit the variant copy of the gene - they noticed that the male mice were slow learners on a maze test. Electrical recordings of the mice's brain tissue were also altered in a way that is consistent with slow learning.

    1) Chinese police focus on the backbone networks that undergird the internet. They simply block I.P. addresses of objectionable web sites at the routers.

    2) New filtering technology combs the web for objectionable words and phrases (a list of some of the more than 1,000 filtered ones appears at the end of this post)

Emails containing them get lost in cyberspace; search engine requests for these words and phrases go unanswered, without an error message being sent back

    3) ISP companies themselves, afraid of running afoul of Chinese authorities and being shut down, do their own censoring

Google's cache feature has been disabled in China; Google says its been done by the Chinese, not them, and research by Jonathan Zittrain and the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard confirms this.

Of course, Google was shut down by China two years ago, only to come back with its cache feature disabled.
