Firstly, the allegations against Franken don't compare. Shadow puppets != child molestation. Furthermore, Franken and the democrats of the senate have openly invited an ethics hearing. Moore and his supports simply refuse to acknowledge any possibility of wrong doing. Meanwhile, our glorious POTUS and his supports simply say, "we can't afford a democrat in that seat." ie, it's okay if he's a pedophile as long as he votes republican.

This level of (twisted) logic is why most democrats think most republicans are either stupid or blissfully ignorant.

  8. When you put it that way, we really shouldn't be concerned at all with a foreign government even attempting to sway an election *condescending sarcasm*.

The only mistakes Clinton and Gore made were getting the popular vote without winning the electoral colleges. The only victories Bush or Trump will have is making it easier for rich people to get richer by using naive idealists emotions against them.

There's no comparison between two internet based corporate giants throwing hissy-fits at each other and net neutrality. This is a moronic comparison. Yes, there are similarities, but to derive that either company endorsing Net Neutrality is a farce due to this scuffle is just stupid. Net neutrality is an issue because private companies hold the reins to the internet (when they shouldn't) and our pro-corporate America government wants to take away the existing blinders that prevent these companies from prancing into our living room and shitting on the carpet. The comparison here is apples to orangutans.

Agreed. It's sad that we live in a society so depraved off critical thinking and logic that headlines like this one are acceptable. Is important to report the facts, but intentionally leading to unreasonable conclusions and the general publics laziness in following through with a story or argument are the source of a lot of issues in this country... but maybe I should read the article.

Have you read the memo? It's pretty sexist and at best just bad science. Claiming that there's a biological difference drawing more men to tech than women has no basis because we live in a vacuum where there has hasn't been a level playing field in... well forever. Women have been involved and making advancements in CompSci since it's conception, but they've been kept in back rooms and simply told they're not "made" for it based on nothing but the result of the same system. Your "checks to see if content came from woman or differently colored or LGBTQ or disabled member, nope" comment is awfully telling of how irrationally you're looking at the issue. You must have Hysteria or something. Oh, and as much as you don't want to admit it, "Hey let's do more pair programming to help include people who are more social, like the bulk of women!" is a sexist comment.
