    Google, Apple, Nokia and Bing are not showing one third of the motorways in Romania. I'm not talking about a forgotten secondary road somewhere up in the mountains, I'm talking about (albeit a few) hundreds of kilometers of motorways.

    Oh, well, for me Google Maps worked better in Romania (including forgotten little roads in the mountains) than it worked in Regina, Calgary, Edmonton or Toronto.

    If this baby gains critical mass, which I hope and expect it will, it could very well become the best selling piece of electronics hardware in history. Bulk produce the Ouya beyond a few million pieces and you have a console with solid general purpose computing capabilities that most of earths population can afford. If that isn't killer potential, I don't know what is.

    Then the patent infringement law suits will pour in and kill the product.

    "better return on your investment"? That's what you expect? You cannot predict the return on an investment for more than 5 years. I guess that the Chinese that invented money or gun powder or rockets didn't really think of the ROI. Or Tziolkovsky, or Gauss or Ampere, they weren't expecting ROI, either, but still they managed to advance the human race more than any ROI craving investor ever did.

    If the EU tried to force the adoption of such an ID, how would the citizens or states react?

    EU is a group of sovereign states. Nobody can impose such a decision on a sovereign state. The governments of the member states will react before the citizens will even hear about such an idea.

    I did spend some summers fishing with nets and I can assure you that the fish is not help in place by the water acceleration relative to the net. The fish gets entangled in the net.

    The life that evolved is the life that the current combination of constants allowed to develop. This is why it seems that the constants are tuned for life.

    Different values for the constants would have resulted in different types of life and those life forms would have said that the universe was tuned for life.

    I never got spammed or scammed by AVG... Also, they didn't even attempt to make me upgrade early. All I got from them was a warning that my subscription will end in 30 days and a promotion code to get a discount if I renew my subscription.

    I have: the paid version also included a firewall (not available in the free version) that prevented a number of worms from connecting to my computer. I know, Windows has a firewall, too - but then why bother with 3rd party software at all?
