Kerry is actually known for his ability to think on his feet in debates.
Some feel that the format for the current debates was the only way they could get the president to show up. When the president doesnt know what to do he gets kind of a simian look about him, otherwise he does pretty good.

Bush wants questions he knows the answer too so he does not have any embarrassing moments.
Is what Bush did back in 2000 against Gore. Bush had such a complete lack of understanding of the subject that at one point he just called what Gore said "Fuzzy Math", which should have been a big red beacon saying "He doesnt know what he is doing" and instead people thought he was witty and that it won the debate through personality.
I just hope he doesnt think of something equally retarded to say that will completely avoid the question, while showing how childish he can be in front of the public.
There can be a huge advantage of looking over data manually.
My job is focused around looking at data to find problems. Many companies by high cost and very fancy data verification tools, address cassing software etc... Then they run these things on automatic on all of there data. What happens is that there data slowly becomes unreliable over time because they are paying their data entry a pittiance or are simply outsourceing it to a foreign nation who has people who do not speak the language, as much as spell it.
So, having someone like me who can clean the data (even sensitive data) to quickly check for errors, find common errors, and write novel solutions for them is a pretty big business. I deal with crap sent from data entry day after day and turn it into data that can be used, and is highly accurate.
So, I can definately see someone using a human as an intermediary between spam.
I could see this working this way. If the email comes from someone "trusted" in the company, it gets passed along without a human filter. Any email addresses that are not trusted would come by a physical person.
This way, if "Bob, your investment advisor" emails you, then that data would be sent directly to the company without human interference.
but, if a mail comes to sales@mycompany.com, then you would have a person scan that e-mail and verify its spammyness. This way, any spam that would get through would have to be from someone trusted. If someone is trusted, then they are not likely to be spam.
It could be a very good system, but I doubt companies would want to allow email to be looked at this way. Consumer responce data, address data, etc.. I can see, but not really e-mails unless there was a pressing need to stop it.
Are there any windows PVR software? I have a PCTV5 pro from Pinnicle, and some off brand tv card (cant even remember) sitting on another machine.

Put it in this perspective. How will people use these cars? Where will they land? What is even the convenience of a flying car?
When we think flying cars, we think something like the jetsons, or back to the future, but barring Magical Levitiation Tires (TM) we arent going to be doing this ANY time soon.
So, a flying car will have to slow down, land conventionally, and avoid buildings / other cars.
There will be NO ADVANTAGE to a flying car that is not gathered from a personal airplane with the exception that you could land at an airport and then drive to work from there.
The problem is, will it be fast enough to warrant that? A flying car will not be able to go as fast as a jet liner, and likely wont use rocket fuel.
So you would have a car that can go maybe 200 mph, roughly cutting 1/3 or so of the time on a 200 mile commute if you go 70 mph. (note im using long distance in this case as an exageration).
THey then arrive at a city, so where do they land? On the ground? on a highway?
What if 100s of people start doing this?
what about air traffic jams? When you arent able to land immmediately and have to circle to land on the highway? Perhaps you are unable to land right out because of the traffic. Do you simply cirlce for an hour till traffic goes down?
The same problem happens at a car air port, how do you manage who lands when, and if you do, do you save time by circling as you wait 5-10 minutes between each car landing, or even 1-3 minutes, before yuo can exit off onto a highway?
There are so many technical, and even social problems that the idea just doesnt hold water. It is why not everyone owns an airplane, the benefit of individual freedom of flight to a new place just is not important enough.
I have always been a cocky driver, until i started commuting 50 miles every day.
I learned that no matter how good a driver YOU are, and how few mistakes you make, that still makes it so you cant avoid getting hit by someone else.
I feel safer when I fly now, because I know there are hundreds of people keeping track of where planes are, and hundreds responsible for the re-fueling, tracking, air avoidance etc...
When you bring that responsibility down to a single individual, who has no stricutres on maintanence, gas, impaired level of thinking, i get shivers.
People that currently fly alone, they have to go through a pretty rigorous flight training program, and the quality can be high because their are so few.
Imagine trying to process 300 people a day to get licensure for a flying car?

IE becoming everything a free country feared most during the cold war era (reference some books like 1984, and a brave new world for this one) it sort of strikes you as somewhat symbolic.

At even the hint that someone was critisizing how the government was run, you went into a 5 paragraph party banner line specifically saying something marginally related to the parent post. And then you went into why this marginally related thing means you will be voting for someone who may not have even been the focus of either the parent or the grand parent post.
You then push the blame of the TSA list on someone else as if it didnt matter in context, in essence making your entire 5 paragraph prequel propaganda post completely worthless.

Any kind of list uses profiling as a central reason to block someone from flying is bad. Because such lists are highly innacurate, and are often wrong at exposing the correct target. If we thought of profiling as a marketing database, marketing database pulls for targeted mail rarely get 2% hit rate on the target market. Would you want such a list to be only 2% accurate? I think not. And before you go crazy, I am arguing against such lists in general, and the people that would vote that such things get into place.
If you wish to put your party group/person/affiliation into the camp of doing something so wrong, thats absolutely fine with me. But I am sure I can find a great many people not in your group/person/party affiliation that have/would have voted for it as well.
