    Follow the money as well. Who built these spy centers with tax payer hand-outs? The profiteers are a big part of the problem.

    Because this is the better place so long as we can hold back the tide of changes such as illigal wiretap of our own citizens becoming legal. These modest encroachments are never ending. I don't think the citizens want to change the constitution. We want to save it, rescue it from the corporations and military industrialists aka offense contractors.
    Defense = Every citizen has a gun, can defend soil.
    Offense = Profiteers get paid to go to middle east for oil interests.

    I agree with following the rules.
    In a solidarity move, I would recommend everyone ban themselves from Mt. Everest for ten years. Don't travel to the country for five years.
    Nepal will have to change the rules if they want tourist to return any sooner. Let them choke on their rules.

    Some people get mad when rules a broken. Others get mad when rules are made.

    I could care less about the money. I don't even care about the safety. If folks would just stop as the light turns red, safety would just happen.
    What I do care about is this:
      When the the left turning lane of the opposing traffic gets the yellow, act proper. by the time I get the green, I should not have to wait for three more assholes to chain together and run the light. They should die and their loved ones should pay a fine. Problem would solve itself before long.

    It becomes apparent that everyone is telling everyone else about you.

      I think It's a legal problem. MS lawyers were asleep at the wheel when it came to phones and tablets. MS was able to force exclusivity on the likes of HP, Gateway, Dell etc... back in the day. "Sell something other than Windows and you will pay dearly for each copy of Windows."
      Because MS didn't get their hooks (crooks?) in early on the ARM front, They have no leverage in the phone and tablet arena. At this point the manufacturers are not stupid enough to let MS rule their lives anymore.
      My view of Microsoft is this: You are either still still forced to use MS products or you finally found a way out.

    Not so much, It's like this (from my previous post...)

        Seeing how the internet is more of a virtual thing, I think the physical location of the router is not relevant in this case. Having a router unsecured is like leaving a box of cookies on the sidewalk, in the middle of town. Folks can't get upset when someone has a look at the contents of the box. The 'intruder' has no idea where the router is physically located.

    It's like the following differences...
    1) Someone peeking into your window.
    2) You standing naked in front of your window.
    3) You standing naked in town.

    The unsecured router would be 3 more so than 2. definitely not 1. :)

    Motion can be told to act on or ignore a light switching off/on using a threshold.

    It can be setup to detect large or small amounts of motion and long or short periods of time before triggering.

    I'm not sure about singling out specific parts of the screen as triggerable/not triggerable.

    Absolutely.
    I buy Vermont 'Grade B' syrup.
    Oddly enough, The old rating system has Grade B being darker, thicker, more expensive and more flavorful than Grade A.
    The rating has nothing to do with modern 'Grade A' foods that we have come to know.

    Troll? Maybe not spoken as eloquent as some of us but certainly the best advice so far.

      Linux is professional grade software. It powers the most vital and powerful systems on and off the internet. It is written by scientists and engineers in a collaborative environment. It doesn't catch a cold everytime it comes in contact with other PCs. There are volumes of 'Graphic User Interface' applications for most all of your needs. If you are serious, you will try it. If you are smart, it will feel very natural. Welcome to the long bus.

      And that was just one of MANY Android devices. :)

    HTC, Motorola, LG, etc....

    After the quick frenzy of this occasional apple upgrade, the numbers will go back to being Android heavy.
