Gotta say, these speeds are really impressive. Azureus 2.5 would download at about 35kb/s, while the same torrent on BitTyrant is 400kb/s. I use a private torrent network, so I'll have to make up for the ratio afterwards; but still, it's great to get things so quickly.
If you're buying a computer in the coming year, don't get one that uses Windows. It's simply too insecure. (Did you know there's a secret "administrator" account and password on every machine? You didn't? Every hacker does.) Get one with the Linux operating system installed (Evesham does them, for example) or an Apple machine running OSX. Both systems are fast, stable and secure. With Windows XP... well, sometimes two out of three really IS bad.
Er? Am I reading this correctly, he ranks Windows two out of three from that list? Well, my Windows box hasn't crashed on me in monthes. But, then again, I havn't turned it on in monthes. No reason to, since I got my Mac.
Shouldn't robots get away from the 'two wheel' system? I mean, it's going to be limited to (fairly) flat plane areas. I would think the IBOT would make a much better base for a robot.
Thats why I stay away from games like that. Even though most people claim they're dead, I still would rather play a good MUD then Everquest. Most of these idiots play because of the pretty pictures and they don't have to use their mind. With text games, you have the mature types that would rather tell a good story then get the 'l33t' gear. Of course, every now-and-then you still get the idiot who logs in and tries to ruin the feel of the game, but not nearly as much with the MMORPG's or FPS's.
