In my experience, many people who have a degree in computer science are worse coders because they are taught that there is a specific way to do something rather then being able to creatively solve problems.
You could just ignore new product launches. If you're happy with your current phone, keep using it. The reason they do the yearly updates, is because people buy them.
Sure, if you want a project rebuilding an old Amiga is fun. But then you start looking at spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on upgrades and it just gets silly. If your goal is to run Amiga OS and games, the best middle ground seems to be a dedicated FPGA system. Lets you use old accessories etc, only thing they tend to be missing is a floppy drive, which frankly I can do without... most "new" Amiga systems end up replacing the floppy with a flash drive anyhow.
Thus the FPGA systems like MiST etc. Physical joystick ports, dedicated hardware, can be used for other things and much cheaper than a used Amiga much less a new one.
Ah, never mind. I see this is about the same stuff as last time (Apollo etc). Sure, you could spend a bunch of money on a "new" Amiga, but at the end of the day it seems simpler to just run an emulator or FPGA system (I went with the later).
Sorry, but our internet is REALLY bad here. Will work well in China and any other country that has actual competition and infrastructure. But here we have monopolies and still consider DSL an option.
Do we really think the cable companies care, so long as we're still paying them for the internet access? They have a monopoly no mater how you look at it.
and if it passes the legal challenges from the Trump administration, since part of the repeal of Net Neutrality was a prohibition against states from creating such laws.
Let us know when the Government inserts a warning message when you try and call someone with a low credit score like China does.
So... are we done with blockchain yet? Or do we need to wait for the Blockchain Burger at McDonalds?

My mind went full Simpsons when reading this.
Perhaps YOU can, but I'm too busy.
I bet they'll say my Magic cards & Beanie Babies are useless as well!
Then they needed a better business plan than "sell 10$ for 5$".
Yeah... I tried to watch it, but couldn't stomach laughs at the expense of those with autism and/or OCD.

They already restrict the carrying and usage of [mobile devices, including phones.
You're comments have been noted, and are being added to your permanent record.
It is a mistake to think that Russia is on their "side". They are interested in conflict, not one side winning over the other.
The question here I guess is, which is more "evil"? No access, or censored access? I just got back from China, and having to use Bing felt wrong.

It's even easier to scoff at a car named tiny tits.

Strange, I find a monthly cost that you can't really get out of, constant maintenance and regulations, etc to be the opposite of freedom.
Don't live where there are hurricanes, problem solved.
I only need a car once or twice a year, so I just rent one. Seems pointless to own a car.
You know... I plumb forgot I used Kenja as my alias here. But no, that's not me. I think I got the name from the old anime Peacock King.
