Healthcare... WTF? Who was asking for that? We wanted jobs and economic stability not government mandated health care.

Polls, at the time, showed 80% of respondents saying "yes" to "do we need healthcare reform?" So, in response to your question, EVERYBODY is who the fuck was asking for it.

As for the jobs? That was the whole point of the stimulus bill -- you know, the one that passed in like the first month he was in office? Oh, but that's right -- the stimulus bill was nothing but government waste. He had to do something else to create jobs that didn't involve spending money, such as go beg CEOs and other job creators to hire more gardeners for their personal estates.

There are lots of legitimate gripes about Obama. Yours? They're bullshit.

Why would you buy a device where (apparently) the camera is a major piece of functionality that you need and not read up on the camera specs before buying it?

On top of that, if a camera is important to you, why would you consider the pinhole lens cameras available on phones and tablets to be acceptable *at all*?

It's tough to have any sympathy for someone who can't at least do a trivial review of a device's hardware specs and then having sour grapes over something they purchased while not knowing its full capabilities/limitations.

That's a baseless argument. Sony could have stopped production of the PS3 altogether, at any time.

And if that had been what actually happened, then it would have been less of an issue. Had the PS3 completely flopped and Sony stopped building them, one could hardly blame them for other institutions' reliance on their hardware.

However, that's not even close to what happened. These institutions evaluated the risk and saw that Sony has a pretty proven track record at this point, and that the life of their consoles typically extended to a decade or more. It was perfectly reasonable for them to have the expectation that there was a good chance that the same would happen again.

Instead, Sony, for no technical reason, pulls the rug out from under them a couple years in. That's why Sony is the douche in this case.

I've heard that Uncharted is a good series. Guess what? I don't have enough time to play the games I already have, let alone do all the other stuff I want to do; I'm not going to regret missing it.

If you're really trying to send a message to Sony by only buying their most lucrative game releases, you're doing a pretty bad job of it.
