  1. Even *WITH* Prime, 2-Day shipping is not always 2 days. In fact, I just placed an order yesterday which was eligible for prime. I got a "Shipped" confirmation email this morning, but the expected delivery date is 4 days from now.

Also, sometimes the items are shipped more than 2 days AFTER the order is placed. What good is free 2-Day shipping when it takes them a week *BEFORE* they ship it?

OK, so I guess I'll be the one to say it:

I RECOMMEND that you buy an HP LASERJET PRINTER!

Exactly which of their services did you use?

The company where I work was bought, and the new owner instructed us to migrate a lot of our services to GoDaddy. Some of the things we migrated were Domain registration, and Email services. The GoDaddy email services LOOKED like IMAP services that we could connect to with our current email client, but when it came down to it, it didn't support all the IMAP features. There were conspicuous limitations like: you are unable to create more than 10 folders off the root of your mailbox, or you can only store 100 messages per folder. To make matters worse, their support system is designed so you cannot reach the same technician twice. It's just the luck of the draw which one of 10,000 different support techs that you get on the phone.

GoDaddy is the WORST service provider. Sure, they may be fine if you want to register one or two domain names, but don't hinge your business on their services!

There is an easy way to test this: Almost all printers have a way of printing out a test page or demo page without even being connected to a computer. See where I'm going with this? Power off the printer, disconnect it from the PC (and network too), and then power it back on and print the test page. I bet the result will be interesting.

Buy a laserjet 4000 series, or maybe even find an old used Laserjet 4 or Laserjet 5. The laserjet 8000/8100 series are built like TANKS. I have seen dozens of those printers with MILLIONS of pages printed, and they are still going. They are repairable, Use PCL language that is supported by EVERY operating system, and even support both US and European paper sizes. You could by a new HP inkjet printer every 2 years for $150 (plus countless ink cartridges), or ONE HP Laserjet for 30+ years.
