It's already working - they have redundancy in place in this advertisement:). In case you missed the first occurence of 200,000, the second should help!.
But for modems, once you are connected at 9600bps, you stay connected at 9600bps - the modem doesn't realise that it can reconnect at 28.8K and drop your active connection. THAT would be very very annoying.
I think it is time to stop bashing a company for mistakes it has made a while ago. They are trying to correct their mistakes. The free version of their player is easily available from their home page now. If you want more information about Real's Helix efforts, go here
.
The fact that you continue to be bitter about something that no longer possibly is true is sad. You may go ahead and flame me now.
If you wanted to make more than an anti RH flame you might have suggested a distro which better suits your requirements.
The irony here is if you are accusing that poster of flaming, you are sounding like an RH fanboy here.
BTW you can install KDE on redhat. Most of the redhat users I know use KDE.
You mean Redhat-KDE which sucks in feel unless you want to compile and install KDE separately and not from the installation medium. How many redhat users do you know use KDE? 3? 5? 10? 20? 100? Stop trying to sound so self-important
I am surprised that you bothered to try gnome at all. Why do all this research when KDE works so well?
Curiosity? I used to be a big-time KDE user and i switched to Gnome because i didn't like Redhat KDEs feel. I now use KDE on my SuSE laptop and Gnome on my RHEL4 desktop. To each his/her own. Nothing surprising here.
The state-owned LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) is a big customer and a major player in India and has a major share of the market (with a few smaller players). In the last few years though, private companies have been eating into the share of LICs market.
From here
"Though the total volume of LIC's business increased in the last fiscal year (2004-2005) compared to the previous one, its market share came down from 87.04 to 78.07%. The 14 private insurers increased their market share from about 13% to about 22% in a year's time. The figures for the first two months of the fiscal year 2005-06 also speak of the growing share of the private insurers. The share of LIC for this period has further come down to 75 percent, while the private players have grabbed over 24 percent."
So yeah this is a big deal (where the hell did you come up with "non-trivial"? - use of non-trivial because this is Indian stuff?) and this is offtopic, but rediff.com is a sucky site. Try control-clicking any of their links on their home-page (and say hello to popup central which beat Firefox).
Time to load up lynx (sorry Firefox:( ). April Fool that!
the atmosphere on the moon and Chuck Norris

The moon revolving around our planet Earth didn't have an atmosphere until Chuck Norris decided to check out the moon landing zone for himself. Once he got there he started smoking cigars non-stop for 3 days. (As to how he can smoke on the moon in the first place, well he's Chuck Norris) Soon enough a very dense cloud of tobacco smoke enveloped the moon. This obligatory Chuck Norris true story brought to you by Chuck Norris smokes you.
If you want a PS1, go get one at your local gamestop for ~40$ or less depending on the package. I went in and was almost tempted to buy but came out buying the slimline P2:). Not sure why you would want to buy a PS1 (since the PS2 plays most games i believe) but if you want one for old times' sake, there's always a local store that sells used ones for dirt cheap. There's always Ebay too. Seriously though, time to make the PS1 a collectors' item;).
Company A: Company A makes hand held projectile weapons (insert your favorite weapon here). Their latest and greatest hand-held, one man operable compact weapon is twice as powerful as an Anti-aircraft gun (can punch a 2x bigger hole in a cuboid of lead).
Company B: This company makes anti-aircraft guns that, well, have one purpose.
Kid who knows nothing about the Instruction set and complexity of the process: Why THE HELL doesn't Company A make Anti-Aircraft guns since they make GUNS THAT ARE TWICE AS POWERFUL (when it comes to shooting through lead).
Think about it. (Also read the post near the top of this page/post).
I am not trying to troll here. I read the post a couple days ago that OO is 10 years behind MS Officer and i remember Office 97 having that flight simulator in the dark. Hehe. Go figure:P
How many of these American kids have their biological parents from China, India, any country in Africa, Phillipines, so on...Just curious.
Per million people, the United States graduates slightly more engineers with four-year degrees than China and three times as many as India. The U.S. leads are greater for lesser degrees.
This article is a dupe for this. Groan - is it Sunday already? Cmon people - these dupes are hurting me eyes:(. Well, strictly speaking, not an exact dupe but darned if i care.
Seriously though - how many people moms and dads will take his statements seriously? The statement and the attitude are very irresponsible to make - coming from a police chief. Did President Bush recommend this guy?
"I know a lot of people are concerned about Big Brother, but my response to that is, if you are not doing anything wrong, why should you worry about it?"
The most stupid, weird, screwed, messed up, idiotic line i've read all day. Way to go Houston or should i say:

You do mean "sentence" don't you?
Funniest post of the day. FUNNIEST^2

Ok, so we all know Bush is a moron. Next news item please. PS: Was he holding an ipod upside down?

Read this as to why this is a big deal and non-trivial is a dumb term to use.

WoW - 4 hours ago - this was modded +4 funny. Now it's a -1 troll. Go moderators - you guys rock.
Unconfirmed reports state that Chuck Norris was seen leaving the scene of the accident with a blow-pipe in his left hand.
Captain Obvious says "I love you hummie". No seriously though, what gave it away ;-).
Here's an analogy:
Company A: Company A makes hand held projectile weapons (insert your favorite weapon here). Their latest and greatest hand-held, one man operable compact weapon is twice as powerful as an Anti-aircraft gun (can punch a 2x bigger hole in a cuboid of lead).
Company B: This company makes anti-aircraft guns that, well, have one purpose.
