    I completely agree. I HATE automatics.. . cars will never be 100% capable of "knowing" when I want to shift.

    I suppose when yer old and gray and all you care about is getting there it doesn't matter. .but I enjoy driving. . I treat everything like a challenge. .I'm not an aggressive fucktard that rides the asses of everyone else, but alone on a windy road and nice weather I have FUN in my 5-spd. .PERIOD

    I would think the change would make MORE sense in the firmware of the hardware, than the drivers.

    Customizations of drivers for specific hardware almost ALWAYS lead to bloated drivers that cause compatibility issues with other devices.

    what eats me is the fact that if the broadband suppliers and the RIAA and the MPAA got their act together and stopped trying to protect their market as-is we'd already have this. As a whole, we've wanted this for a long time. I'm not even just talking about geeks . . .my grandparents would MUCH rather get a movie on demand than drag themselves out to the video rental shop.. . .

    blacklists might not be the best defense we have. .they sure aren't perfect. .but ddos'ing them is childish.

    The fundamental problem is that SPAM WORKS.

    What we need is soem silly grass-roots movement/boycott to get people to STOP doing business with companies that adverstise with UBE.

    If spam didn't work, they wouldn't send it.

    The fact that the court date is in 2005 is to their advantage. They know the code could probably be replaced in 10 minutes if shown to the right people.

    I wouldn't be surprised if their plan is to sue end users for their use of the software between now and 2005 when they really show us the code. . And hey it might work. . bastards. .
