  1. I agree with all of the things you listed. The interface is horrible and their prediction algorithms seem to be "list and recommend everything". Shows that I gave a thumbs down still show up on every category as recommendations for me. Add in the fact that as a Canadian subscriber, the choices are severely limited and I already pulled the plug a few days ago. Sure it's cheap, but it's a bunch of junk documentaries about nazis and aliens. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I take backdoor to mean an undocumented thing that allows the developers to access something that the end user isn't supposed to be aware of. So by that definition it would be intentional yes. It may not be malicious in nature, or may even be considered an inside joke or easter egg, or maybe I am paranoid.

Using anything that is not hard-wired for pro audio is a waste of time. I can't even listen to music on a cell phone no matter how good the headphones/buds are, the quality is terrible. Even making a voice call makes me cringe because of how bad it sounds. Yes, I still listen to vinyl, still use a hardwired landline to make phone calls. All cell phones have going for them is convenience and the cache that certain models have managed to attach to themselves as being status badges.
