    If the argument is that you must show ads I can say that I never seen a ad in about two or three years now from your site(s).

    I think you instead should let us fans of slashdot pay an annual fee of 10 euro (dollar is of no use!) to use your site without any ads. (so we don't have to use noads, noscript whatever to not see it.).

    Also, and this is just a suggestion so there is no obligation from your part, we users would be (every) happy if you could take some of those annual money to hire an editor that can spell. And also hire someone to check the spell the editor spelled.

    IF we received the commercials in unadorned, unprocessed form. We don't.

    All you have to do then, is to lower the level of that commercial to the same RMS level that you use for your "normal" processing. Quiet easy actually. Don't need a law for that.

    Second, Why don't we pump up all the "fresh" water from those wells into tanks and transport it to the intake of the fresh water plant closest to the white house and release it there.

    If the quality of the water is so good that you can drink this water, there should be no problem at all. Only new jobs created.

    What if you publish your own CA with the domain name in the DNS?

    You first make an CA and publish your public key as an TXT (or something similar) field to your root domain (name.tld) and using dnssec to make sure it's correct. You can now use that CA to make certs of all the names that you want within your own domain.

    If someone tries to make an CA of your name and try to intercept the dns traffic to change the public key, the dnssec would fail and in that case and the CA is invalid?
