Apple's OS releases have always been evolutionary. For that matter, you could say the same of any OS really. OS 6 to 7 was the last "revolutionary" change for apple before OS9 to OS X, and that was a switch from 68k to PPC code. Everything else has always been evolutions of the previous OS. This isn't a bad thing, consistancy is something people like. A lot of people didn't like (and still don't) OS X because it doesn't look like the old OS and doesnt' behave like it in some places. A complete revolution every year or even every 2 years would be disasterous for Apple or any other software company.
Support will probably last untill the next OS release. That is, Apple normaly supports the current and previous OS. Of course, that isn't to say they won't support older ones either. They still release the occasional patch for 10.1
If you're that hard up for it, you buy yourself an external mouse or plug in the one that you already own or install SideTrack and stop complaining about stupid shit.
32 bit isn't going anywhere for a while. The G5 is the new pro line processor for Apple, which means the G4 will be arround for years to come. Remember, the G3 was originaly thought to be dead for a long while and they really milked that thing to the end of it's life, so will happen with the G4.
Obviously if the state is so trustworthy that we don't need weapons to defend ourselves with, then you have no problem with trusting them with the powers given by the PATRIOT act right? After all, they would NEVER abuse their power.
Educate yourself . And please note it says "The right of the people" if the people refers to the militia, then only the militia has the right to free speech.
Listen to at your computer, or another one you authorize, or any CD player, or any portable music player that supports MPEG-4 AAC

Truth be told, I've been through contruction sites during both night and day, and I prefer driving through them during the day, even if it means more traffic. Simply put, at night it's much harder to see these people and keep an eye out than it is during the day.
I didn't realize I was being forced to upgrade my software. After all, if EVERYTHING is exactly the same, then the software would be the same too. You know, kind of like how the software I bought for a computer 3 years ago wont run on the SAME HARDWARE because there's a new OS on the computer. Imagine that, SOFTWARE is part of the equation.
He's worried about loss of his right to play the music he paid for in the future on new technology. Something like how I can't play my records on my CD player. God forbid I might have to buy a new format to use new technology. I mean what a fucking ripoff that my CD player won't also play records. And the tape deck that I bought? Fucking waste of money. And I I can't play my old comodore 64 games anymore either. WAHHHHH!!!!!
Things change. I bought software years ago, that I can't play on any modern computer. Despite the fact that the computer can RUN this software, I can't play it. WAAAH
Thankfuly for the rest of us, slippery slope is a logical falicy. Beyond that, there are plenty of things to stop that, namely loss of revenue. Beyond that, there are plenty of ways to get arround the DRM if it comes to that. And plenty of legal ways to boot.
Actualy, your right to do with the file hasn't changed, it's the right you burn the playlist that has changed. You can still burn the file an unlimited number of times, just not without changing the playlist every 7 times. There is a slight difference.

Well, if we wanted to get all analytical about it, there could be any number of reasons.
The fact that cats are often viewed as sleek and graceful animals while still powerful.
Or the fact that they've been viewed as both gods and devils, a description which could fit both Jobs and Apple quite well.
But more likely than not, it's because he's keeping with a theme.

Er... it's not like they changed the procedures or anything, from the way I read it, the police called one day:
"We need XX information."
They didn't get anything, so they called another day:
"We need you to get XX information by doing YY"
Not exactly much difference. I'm sure if the police were calling the telco on the issue, they already had the proper authorization.
And it failed too, remember free dialup? Free internet access for looking at ads. Where did they all go? Out of business.
Wouldn't it just be easier to say "Edit the damn thing"

So microsoft is developer friendly, but I don't get a disk, I have to go looking for the tools, and then they don't even provide me with an IDE?
Yes microsoft may love it's developers, but Apple is learning fast and doing things better (again)
I never said that, what giving everyone access to the weapons they have the rights to they will be able to protect themselves.
Or do you really think that what happened in the south would have lasted as long or been as bad had black people been allowed to own guns?

PATRIOT also passed with only what 3 no votes total? If he had vetoed it, it would have gone through anyway.

Yeah isn't it amazing, as technology advances, you need to buy new technology to use advanced technology.

Tell your favorite band to get in on iTunes then. The offer is already there, the bands need to make the next move.

He is talking about a gapless output. It takes two seperate tracks and allows them to be played without gap.
Token gesture to the RIAA to apease their fears of the pirates.
That's not even close to a complete list. What about dogpile and mamma?
