Than they did in the Diablos and Starcraft. Recently they deleted around 500,000 starcraft accounts in two seporate waves.
That said I think there is a lot greater risk hacking in WoW than in Starcraft. In SC if you hack and your key is banned, you can play on alternate servers. As far as I know there is no Alternate network to connect to for WoW.
The problem I see with that method is that you have to have a database, I'd just like the browser plugin to handle all the hard stuff, and all you need is an ftp site to sync it all.
I don't think you really need a database for it. Unless you plan to be adding bookmarks on multiple machines 30 times a second or something.
What I've been using is a shell script, but its not efficient at all, it does however handle adding bookmarks from multiple computers pretty well.
There is a script called poll bookmarks, which checks to see if the bookmarks.html on the ftp server is newer than the local one, if it is, then get gets that copy.
Then another script that uploads a new bookmark. which checks the version on the server, and then does diff/merge magic and everything is gravy.
The problem with it though is that the script has to be hard coded to where my profile is, and I have to do it manually. and the changes arent live in the browser.
This sounds exactly like a question I had in Computer Architecture class.
It looks to me that if you're upgrading from a computer that was 1/4 the speed of today's servers, then if you get a modern server machine with raid SATA you'll be fine.
You're being an ass. The submission, and the article clearly states that they're opening them up in the US. Its not like the story was WOW first ever Sony Stores. Sheesh.
Can't mention libraries with out mentioning this:

People have been living in card board boxes forever.

Agreed, all applications should be self contained. At least to a directory.
Attack of the Geek Fat!
Heh, yeah, I've tried it. I'm less than impressed.

Maybe I should learn how to code.

is a firefox plugin that syncs the builtin bookmarks via an FTP site.
My wife hits the "proten jackpot" quite often. Oh wait, that protein jackpot. Nevermind.
Except if the number of divisions isn't the same on both sides. In which case its
((x*y)*(x+y))/2
x = left side divisions
y = right side divisions
I think you're confused. Sony sells ultra expensive stylish stuff. www.sonystyle.com

IIRC the Apple stores came out after Gateway's.
Also the gateway stores sucked major ass.
Apple stores are awesome.
I'm sure Sony's stores will be pretty good considering they're the only PC maker that can compete with Apple in terms of style.
How do you explain my free iPod then... JK.
Allofmp3.com is russian and charges pennies per megabyte. Thats super cheap and legit right?
I fail to see the objectivity in Slashdot posting.
You're new here aren't you?
Whats worse is I can't seem to disable the politics section in my preferences.
I checked it out and it didn't seem obvious to me that it was illegal in the US. Could you provide some linkage to back that up?
They're pretty cool. The dynamic DNS is free and doesn't have any ads, they've also got url redirection, but that has ads and isn't as good.
Also free webmail.
There might be popups but I've never seen them I use firefox.
They'd just have to swap the location of the search box and the location box and they'd be done :)
Where's the pic?
