It has come to my attention that your product: insert product name sucks major hot balls. I feel as though your company has ripped my ass wide open and violated my dignity. I would like a refund for $insert amount. If I am not satisfied with the response I get I will tell my friends never to buy insert product name again.
I look forward to hearing from you on this matter.
Thank you

I remember saving up mad dough for a CD-Rom back then to play the "games of the future". I think $400 for a 1X CD-ROM and $250 for a Pro-Audio Spectrum Sound card.
I guess not, especially when there is money to be made. Why would these guys want a free website floating around based on their copyrights? It takes away their potential to make any money off of it.
Who would pay them for such a service (if they ever decide to have one) when Joe Blow has it for free?
It is as annoying as Gator's crap, and Kaza's spyware. If anyone was unfortunate enough to have this stuff implanted on their machine you know what I mean. Real is no better, they are spam kings as well.
Well said. I noticed that hackers/virus authors make horrible IT personel in the workplace. All they have learned is from fooling around, and there is no strong foundation in place.
My company hired this guy who said he had a lot of computer expierence. He confessed to me that he had written viruses and hacked into other people's computers in his spare time. Suffice to say, the guy was a complete tool. He could not program for sh*t, and was constantly bothering me to give him work. I gave him nothing because;
I did not trust him
He had no foundation, everything he did was a kludge.
Also there is no real-world application for hacking. Anyone who says that deserves to be butt-raped in jail.
Keep waiting. How long does it take for any new technology to reach an affordable implementation and price? Look at flat-panel monitors. Just now are they becoming affordable. We had to enture $1500 15' inch LCDs that now sell for $250 which had crappier quality than a low end laptop screen.
Also, what is right for the Japanese market is not always right over here. The way they use cell phones over there borders on some science-fiction movies, while companies are still trying to get online cell phone games to catch on over here.

I am mainly a Visual Basic (VB6, not the abortion that is.NET) programmer that writes client applications to talk to SQL databases (reporting, data entry . . . etc). I was always interested in learning a new programming language, but I was not sure if JAVA was the right one for this implementation.
In a Windows dominated enviorment, is there any other better alternative to what I am already using? Does Java make sense?
I used alta-vista once. I had to write a term paper for my foreign language class and I used their assey translator. I bet you can guess what grade I got.
One ISP, which asked not to be named in this story, received a letter listing the IP address of users who had shared movies, along with infringement times and dates.
How did anyone else other than the ISP get the IP addresses? For this company to get this information, they have to be doing some sort of spying. Obviously this is only taking place in AUS because these people could not get away with it here.
I have yet to see a coffee shop that has Internet access. People seem to think geeks hang out at coffee shops, this is not true.
The only people who hang out at coffee shops are rich arrogant college morons complete with $300 Tommy Hillfiger shirts, slick hair, and strong cologne getting their mack on to some groupie slut who is impressed by his parent's BMW.
That was the most intelligent thing I have heard in a while. Nice way to put it.
People always talk about striving to eliminate stereotypes & groupings, but always feel the need to keep reminding everyone about it anyway bringing us back to the same problem.
Actually, there is a reason to not upgrade now. The Radeon 9700 is NOT a full floating point precision card through the entire pipeline. Only 96bits of precision technically. The GeForce FX has a FULL 128-bit floating point precision through the entire pipeline. Unlike the Radeon 9700.
So that means I will have one less shadow on the Marine's testicle sack in Doom 3? If so, that is definitely worth paying an extra $150-$200 for the FX when it debuts at $400 and the 9700 Radeons are selling for $199-$250.

But since 0.00000000001% of the population runs WineX, it is completely irrelevant!
Do not feed the trolls.
Did 3X CD-ROM drives ever come out? I remember when I was in the market for one, they skipped from 2X to 4X and ignored 3X.

Poor attempt at a troll. What was the number 2 selling game kast week? Splinter Cell, an Xbox exclusive. Not made by Sega.
Xbox is the #2 selling game console, in front of the Cube, and Nintendo seems to be doing OK.

The best bet is to not use them.

I think that they have some cash registers at Kmart chains running Windows 98 . . . is that news too?
I always though "Payload" was a term used for viruses. Is there something you are not telling us?

I really don't think Microsoft is behind this. I think all signs point to the makers of the X10 camera.
It is an endless cycle.

So that's where all of those viruses have been originating from! Symantec has to justify their product's yearly updates somehow.
Apple is following suit. Microsoft already adopted this policy by making people have to pay for their operating system with the release of Windows XP.
Dude everyone knows Physics is all about getting mad bizatches and getting laid every night!
People always talk about striving to eliminate stereotypes & groupings, but always feel the need to keep reminding everyone about it anyway bringing us back to the same problem.
That is because neither of those have anything to do with physics. Hate to state the obvious.
