A class action lawsuit over a $10 update? DAMNNN...
I wonder what those people think of the Cisco and Oracle updates being you have to pay $$$$$ for subscription services. They probably dumped a load in their boxers.
Install AOL on every machine and have each of them sign up for an AOL account.
It'll even help you when you start to backup all of the companies documents because the documents will be immediately rewritten in code that takes up less space. Example:
i 4 one opt in for dis wonderful opp. 2 be able to do biz wit dis corp.
I already managed to setup a ACL that would allow me to block all spam and malicious worms. I only allow a host with an IP address of 127.0.0.1 to connect to my machine.
I'm going to sue slashdot due to it's biased nature in handling the news.... and then I'll wait for the Judge to throw out the case due to a conflict of interest due to my love affair with CowboyNeal.
My conclusion: software itself is just insecure. So please, everyone..., uninstall all software from your harddrive. You will have the most secure box in the world.
Actually a lot of complexity of an automobile is hidden from the user! This is even more so in a car carrying an automatic transmission than a manual transmission. Some cars do not even have the an RPM gauge on the dashboard.
Most people still do not even know how to read the dashboard icons, they just merely visit their local mechanic to enlighten them.
I am one of the so-called victims in the named lawsuit. I entered the virtual world looking for an outlet to escape reality. I was looking for a peaceful world to make a decent living and to live in harmony. All of a sudden some hot shot business executive promised our virtual world companies increased revenues by outsourcing. I was then forced out of my job and then forced to work in a sweatshop for 2 virtual cents an hour. I was treatly poorly and sometimes pinged to increase my network latency. I was exposed to virtual fumes which has caused me life-long problems. I am seeking 4,000,000 virtual dollars for compensation for pain and suffering. I hope others will join me in a virtual class-action lawsuit.

I don't know about the airlines, but I might have a clue. I know in the Bank World, they used specifically designed operating systems developed by various large companies. Usually in a large bank, you jump on a computer, it will read 'BankOS' or something of the sort. It's nothing standard and you will see outside the bank. Also, there are some unfortunate banks that do run Windows...
In the airline world, I remember one friend of mine who just recently left USAir, and stated that the passenger system looked a lot like DOS. Not sure what that means, but sounds scary.
All I know is that my Karma is 'terrible' and if someone mods me down one more time my karma is going to turn around and fuck me in the ass. So please mode me +5 Funny but off-topic. Thank you!
I laughed hysterically when I read that!
