  1. They do have elections... but even if they mattered, the elect folks like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who couldn't even manage her personal financial planning around winning and moving to Washington so there's little hope they'll have any chance of managing more complex large scale economies.

  2. Folks have been screaming "the science is settled" over climate change for decades now when the reality is it's the furthest thing from it... the climate's changing is about the only accurate thing we can say, the rest is a politicized cash grab meant to drive industry in one direction or another.

Article says "refused a request by the Trump administration"... the request didn't come from the Trump administration so that statement is untrue and, whether or not they supported it isn't relevant to anyone but the legion of snowflakes looking to blame Trump for everything. The request came from AT&T and the lobbyist groups NCTA, CTIA, USTelecom, along with the American Cable Association. So the article should have said "refused a request by AT&T, the NCTA, CTIA, USTelecom, and the American Cable Association". English is hard I know...

The terrific irony of you going on a racism tirade about easy to fleece white men while responding to a black man daring to think for himself. Check your own racism before running your mouth... the reality is, facebook shouldn't be allowing any advertising targeting "genocide" period, white black or otherwise. That you would try to dance around that simple reality to defend Facebook's profit interests or attack a demographic is a YOU problem.

No conspiracy theory and the only one talking about white genocide is you... and, surprise, I'm not white. Maybe put the tinfoil hat down. It's not even debatable... Facebook bans pages like Uncle Sam's Misguided Children, a conservative veterans group, for "attempting to influence voters" while leaving pages like Occupy Democrats untouched. I've personally reported comments where someone was applauding the murder of police and saying that they wish they could meet the fallen officer's family so they could spit in their faces, only to get a response that it doesn't violate terms of service. It's no uncommon, it's not illegal, they have a right to their bias... but you'd have to be a fool to actually think Facebook isn't massively biased in favor of the left.

Facebook has proven time and time again that they will allow anything that targets whites, law enforcement, or conservatives and only have an interest in blocking "hate speech" if it's targeted at minorities or the left. This is hardly even newsworthy at this point, it's just their platform.

  8. Who's sending anything that's actually sensitive or confidential through facebook?? Apart from some nudes that women have sent me, there's nothing in my private messages that I'd care about being published to the public.

  11. People in this country haven't protested in decades... all that's happen today is petulant children and sore losers staging small scale riots where they attack anyone who doesn't adhere to their particular brand of insane social justice. When you go from legitimate protests against war and injustice to mask wearing nutjobs shutting down city streets and attacking citizens who are just trying to move about their neighborhoods, you don't get to hide behind a "right to protest" any longer.

  12. The hedge fund manager who got rich in large part off of energy investments at Farallon before selling out his carbon producing investments and going in on alternative energy is now pushing for the advancement of alternative energy, which will profit him, while criticizing others for being for profit... the irony.

The real question is how the hell they managed to allow 8.7 million exploitative posts in the first place... They ban conservatives for the most menial of infractions daily, but they've been turning a blind eye while accumulating nearly 9 million exploitative posts? Talk about fucked up priorities.

  14. A five year might be able to... but most unhinged leftists with their panties in a knot over illegal immigrants being treated as illegal immigrants probably can't.

  15. Democrats trying to drum up support... all year I've been getting 3-4 robocalls per week from various democrats looking for support against Trump or donations or stumping for votes. Probably 2-3 text messages per month too.

  16. Stop using inkjet printers, they're trash unless you need photo printing. Laser printers are faster, more efficient, and cheaper in the long run... toner doesn't dry out like ink cartridges and printer manufacturers wouldn't risk alienating core business customers in such a competitive market by trying to pull this crap on laser printers. Color laser printing has advanced to the point that it's entirely adequate for everything short of desktop photo printing at reasonable prices. There's really no reason to use an inkjet anymore unless you're printing exclusively photos.

  17. It's a shame that this law doesn't apply to agricultural equipment... Farmers continue to be bound by monopolistic right to repair restrictions that limit them from doing all but the most basic maintenance on their equipment.
