Would you rather be pop-added to death or nickel-and-dimed to death?
Fact is most sites have to have a revenue source. If they aren't selling goods they gotta get money somehow.
Paying a 1/2 cent to read an article or a comic doesn't seem as bad to me like everyone makes it out to be.
Why the backlash against them here?

Now granted you can't throw windows windows around like you can with X, and I much prefer X to the windows environment, but windows has always seemed quicker.

Yes, you are right. Because every child that has died in an accident, was molested, kidnapped was because of a irresponsible parent.
>I'm just not the paranoid type and if one doesn't have commercial motives for using the GPL one really has to have a high level of paranoia to justify it.
Or maybe you are just not the socialist type. Don't mind people getting paid to program and feel the BSD license helps society alot more than the GPL ever will.(Note to the trolls, I did not say some of the programs written under the GPL did not help society, just that the BSD license helps society more than the GPL).
Yes, Hasbro has done this game, the 2nd one called Iron Blitz is better than the first but they both still suck badly.
A better but not as pretty version is Dogs of War, not currently legal(Hasbro stopped them), and more primative but a much better gmae overall. You might be able to find one on the net somewhere.
I just did this with the chances in a 3 dice versus 2 dice, to see who would win. I then ran it like 1,000,000 times. It came something like this(I can't remember exactly except that attackers had the advantage):
Defender lose two men: 35% Tie: 33% Attacker loses two men: 31%
Whats really important here is did the total Windows server increase or decrease. I would expect 2003 to increase because it is so new and well known. Well, NT 4 server to decrease until it is no more, and 2000? not sure.
Why do you call people foolish without all the facts.
I wanted something like 5 songs. mp3 have viruses? $70 for 5 songs and a record player(which I will never use a again). And I am the one who is inefficient?

Really? I can back-up a cd up? I never knew. Thank you for your pearls of wisdom. You must not have children.

Gotta stop with comments like this. Don't like Quark, then don't use it. Don't like paying $1000, then your time is not worth much. There is give and take with software, if quark doesn't save you time and quality then use something cheaper.
You make it sound like there a gun to the head of people using quark.
With MS you have an argument, but I fail to see what your problem is with quark. Or maybe it is just any software you have to pay for?
Why father purchased records when he was younger, I like to listen to them. He has given them to me.
I no longer have a record player and even if I did I would prefer to listen to them on my computer. I download "The Great Pretender" off Kazaa. I purchased a cd, my daughter then played ruined it(my fault shouldn't have left it out). I then downloaded the cd of Kazaa, created a new cd.
I believe in the above two examples I have broken the law. The RIAA would like to see me hang i guess.
Do most people steal on kazaa? oh yes, but in the above cases what other good options do I have?
The RIAA says that I should take better care of my cd. I say I already paid the royalties for the cd, why should I have to pay them again? They leave no alternative other than buying a new cd. Ain't gonna happen.
btw, I do have a JOB, a wife and two kids. I have lways had a JOB, since high school and during college and now.
The RIAA lumps people like me(doing the above) with people who download and then burn cd after cd without ever paying for them.
I remember reading a section of some math book. I was completeley confused and lost. I then looked at the exercises and realized I had already knew this stuff from some other class and finished them with no problem.
I went back and re-read the same section and still couldn't follow the book.
What I am saying is sometimes the author of a book sucks, sometimes the book teaches in a way you find hard to understand, and sometimes the subject takes awhile to stick.
Either way you need to get a another book or another major.
Did you know that freeBSD needs Linux emulation because freeBSD can't allure developers to its operating system when it is inferior to Linux? This is a model trend in operating systems...emulate your superiors
Which is way wine is around. So by your idiot logic Windows is a superior OS because it has more developers? Please. Get a life. So stop your trolling and your FUD. Go take some ritalin.
Why is this a troll?
He makes a good point, I have AOM but little desire for this expansion, all it has is bigger units from what I can tell.
On another note when it is there going to be a RTS that requires strategy and not quick clicking and knowing the build "route".
It seems that there is too much micro-managing in these games.
For instance, why do I have to tell my scout to scout? Maybe with different aggresiveness settings?
Tell a raiding party to knock off laborers if a army comes to thump you, then RUN!
I could go on.
Yes, but with everything being automated those things should cost much less.
Also, with less needed hours then maybe the 40 hour work week would go to 32 or less.
At least that is my hope.
Let's see MS losing a patent battle. This is great Windoze sucks.
Amazon licenses a patent. Patents are evil!!!
The US patent office is stupid and sucks.
Moral nothing else matters as long as MS goes down.

Just curious, why would you want DHCP on your router in the first place?
You have plenty on non-routeable ip's, why bother with DHCP?
Do you have new computers constantly connecting to your networks, and don't want to enter an ip address for them?
Just curious.
It this case the name fits the posting.
So playing this one-up game with web sites is better than paying pennies for a web page. I just don't get it.

Auction my friend auction.
Yes, the games is tipped to the Allies.
You simply auction off the Axis, whoever bids the lowest get the Axis the that much extra money.
Also, Russia can't attack first turn.
Game is much more even when this happens.

You don't know MS to well do you.
MS needed to make Linux didn't get a big deal and some legitimacy. They could have lost money on the deal and wouldn't have cared.
If someone small comes and says we want discounts and am pretty sure MS would say "No"
And then the small company would evaluate the cost of switching(linux or some thing else) to keeping current software to upgrading.
If enough small company switch then maybe MS will change but until then... don't hold your breath.
