    I have a feeling most of their remote people will quit. Would *you* move to Yahoo headquarters? You would have to believe that Yahoo is a solid business model that will be there for years.

    Interesting. Is that why it's so hard to fire bad Teachers in the US?

    I hear stories where the managers have to take the union to court multiple times and are STILL stuck with bad Teachers.

    Basic atomic theory is one of the most important things we've discovered as a species, right behind "Scientific theory".

    Both of those are covered, and practiced in Chemistry.

    Carrot and stick problem.

    However, all the "Incentives" he listed weren't incentives at all, they were just morale boosters.

    Getting paid for work completed, that's an incentive to do more work.

    Bonuses for completing projects that don't generate more work tickets?

    Because only some of the projects are like that. All the Kickstarter projects I contribute to are two categories:

    1. Pure charity. I receive nothing beyond helping someone implement a cool project. (Which has value to me.
    2. I get one of the items. All game Kickstarters seem to fall into this category.

    How would they be much harder to get? Even if every US gun making company was destroyed outright, we'd be able to buy guns cheaply and easily from overseas.

    Why would you think they would get rid of the bullies after being told on?

    The school gets paid for you to be there, they get paid by headcount. Learning and being happy are not priorities.

    They need the bullies to show up to get paid.
