I purchased a "Manged Hosting" VPS. That way I don't need to administrate the server myself.
Also, the service is great. Why? Because I pay them "treble or quadruple" of what a shared account does. It's amazing what they can do when you pay them enough money to hire people.
He was following the rules and loopholes just like the large corporations do. The IRS nailed him because he doesn't have the resources to fight the IRS like a large corporation would.
In his Manifesto he was complaining about how much less money he was making in Texas compared to California. He was a whiner, and from the method of his rebellion, an incompetent and a coward.
There are plenty of people who "Fight the power" either peaceably or through violence. They usually do it in a way where they face the consequences of their actions afterwards though.
Is this a joke? Why do you think we even have the word "Automation"? It's because we automate a LOT of stuff. Right off the bat I can think of the computer control system for your car.

When in power: transfer as much wealth as possible to the very rich
What's the visible difference between that, and transferring as much wealth to those who can get things done? Also known as "Successful people that create wealth".
Great, so long as you never pin the paper up, fold, wrinkle or spindle it. Never get oil on from your fingers on it, coffee stains, pen marks, or tape residue.
Until they include a box that will shred the old "Paper", melt down and extrude new paper, this is worthless.
When I was doing IT for the University library, some Indian student and I were tasked to assemble some metal shelves. He was aghast. "Don't we have *people* to do that sort of thing?"
"...the millisecond they start to learn they're out of the original developer's control, and so you'd probably never be able to identify why one version of your artificial being was successful but another wasn't."
Because when the government starts blocking businesses from building Nuclear Plants, they'll be on the hook for paying for their interference. Literally. In cash.

Isn't that exactly the opposite of what the history of warfare shows us?
Frankly, I'd rather be shot than have to face a Marine with a knife and his war face on.
Talk to other people about it? You mean besides all the other remote drone pilots?
Or the next guy up your chain of command? Or your military councilor? Or your spouse? Or your priest/rabbi/whatever?
Hell, there's probably forum those guys hang out on.
If there's one thing that's lacking in the modern world, finding people to talk to isn't one of them.
It doesn't matter.
It's like saying "What's worse? Being shot at with a bullet or having a limb sliced off with a sword?"
We're switching to bullets anyway.
I didn't see anything about being a tax cheat.

If you cut your hand badly, just go to the hospital and pay for them to fix your hand.
You're all worried about playing the game. Stop paying insurance, put the money in a medical savings account, and stop playing the game.
The point, is that the guy was rich.

I've been thinking about the subject a lot lately, and I have a theory.
You rarely get jobs by putting in your resume at some job board site. You have to do it through your contacts. People you know or socialize with.
If you're not socializing with people of other races, and a job opens up, the people you end up telling will be the same race as you.
"Now, it may just be cognitive cob-webs but who is to actually say that God is not waiting for us beyond the last theorem?"
Oh! That's in the second to last theorem.
Actually it's better than going to a 4 year university.
College doesn't bring the return on investment like it used to. Do the first two years cheaply and then finish your degree at a 4 year college.
Or do you really need to spend huge sums of money to make your 101 classes worthwhile?
The way I understand it, a corporation was sued by it's shareholders by not being aggressive enough.
I don't have a reference, but it does make sense.

If Nuclear energy wasn't regulated to death by the Government, I would have chosen it as a career field.
This administration wants to build two more reactors. What happens when the next administration wants to tear down 6?
Getting a degree in Nuclear science is about as useful as getting a degree in winning blackjack in Vegas.

It's your fault you know. You didn't hope hard enough.
Hope HARDER dammit!

Then you have 10,000 groups of 100 each. +-50 birds.
You also distilled 3 months of work into 4 paragraphs on Slashdot.

I blinked in surprise. "We *are* those people."

It's called a core dump.
This adds a whole new layer of meaning when your Dentist goes "Whoops!"
I saw my first modern 3-D movie last week. It was fantastic.
Yes, it's a gimmick. It won't make a bad movie good. Lets look at other gimmicks that movies developed:
Sound
Color
CGI special effects.
So get used to 3-D. It's great, and I want all movies to have it. Whether it's "When Harry met Sally" or "Avatar"
Pirating IS the wrong answer.
Copying is ok though.
