  1. Does this have anything to do with the warmer soil? It looks to be more a test of a new method of identifying the viruses than a test of this soil itself. This kind of crap give climate change deniers more reason to complain about the data that is shown.

  2. From the article, for more detail make sure to look at the link to the nature.com article https://www.nature.com/article...

  3. Like google ad words? You mean the service that they are using? (search) Thank you for proving my point that they are just as guilty as the service they are going to be using. and only their app store? The ads here are bringing in $500 million by the end of this year, and expecting to bring in $2 billion by 2020 Now you might be thinking, only $500 million? that's nothing compared to apple's other revenue streams. But then, why are they selling out their principles for an extra (estimated) 0.15% revenue? I would guess because they don't really care.

  4. here is one example - https://searchads.apple.com/ad... SearchAds. You can target ads by gender, age, location

  5. Looking back on the articles listed it never mentions a company by name, just the practices they use. However, if you think apple doesn't collect your data you'd be wrong. They may not sell it to a 3rd party, but they allow targeted ads in some of their products, using things such as your likes and possible your demographics as well. They never really cared about your privacy, they just want you to think they care about your privacy.

Often time computers set up in these situations are not used often, especially in smaller companies.. Set it to manually update? Oh look, it still auto updates. Regardless of updating outside of the times, they should still ask BEFORE locking your computer up for a indeterminate amount of time.

The new study estimates that the average adult consumes approximately 2,000 microplastics per year through salt. What that means remains a mystery.

What I want to know is how much 2,000 picroplastics is. Is it 2,000 particles, or 2,000 different polymers? Or maybe it is more like 3 Internets?

  13. Sounds like you are with Dorsey then. He doesn't want to have the added tax, doesn't give money to the homeless, but moved his HQ to the deprived part of town, thus giving more access to the work.

  14. Isn't this already a thing? I have seen underwater storage where they pump air into the tanks and then release it to generate electricity. Also, what about just pumping water up hill?
