Yeah after using Enlightenment, GNOME, KDE, Ion, went on a console only kick for a while I think I found a desktop I like. I saw OS X and was like this is pretty, saw the dock and was like isn't that nifty, discovered its NeXT origins, found Windowmaker and GNUstep. I realized that it wasn't the prettiness that attracted me to OS X (although that helps) it is the almighty Dock. All hail the Dock. The Dock and the up/down scroll buttons right next to each other. Why doesn't everyone do that?
ISPs who used Netscape used to put it on their install CD. The same could be done with IE. I mean AOL has enough CDs hanging about in the local Circuit City. Either that or have MS (not that I really like this idea) be forced to put both browsers on thje desktop or let OEMs decide which default browser to install. Its not that big of a problem actually.
It reminds me of that new GB game that forces you to go outside to collect sunlight. You could have a game that required dosing with soapy water every 24 hours or something.
Isn't it time for the obSecurity through obscurity comment? Also, I don't think he's worried so much about a foreign developer getting a spontaneous urge to modify code because he just found out it was headed to the NSA, but rather foreign governments discovering where the software went and setting up spy developers to go mess with the code. (insert backdoors, whathave you).
I see the phonetic simularity, but as someone who has read both the stand and the eyes of the dragon, i'm having difficulty making the connection you're suggesting. could you maybe point out an example from either book so i know what you mean?
whupdee doo. This isn't any more frightening to MS than modchips I'm sure. As others have said before me, these guys are just digging their own graves. I mean if it was a pure software exploit, that didn't require any game, then great. But this is just slightly less effort (well maybe more effort) then a modchip and you still have to open the XBox.
*sigh* did you actually read the question? He says that the wheel works fine when plugged directly into the box. This isn't some "I'm a newbie who doesn't know about ZAxisMapping" question, he obviously knows how to configure X.

Well the dropping IE part already happened...
she also plays some sports games geared for little kids (I don't recall the title).
Backyard Baseball / Football / $SPORT ?
Because the cahce sites are paying the $0.07 per listener or whatever?
Please don't feed the trolls.
You don't know many boy scouts do you?
No actually, it's Ragnarok. Cause you see well, its a Korean MMORPG, and thats how they spell the name of their game.

*Applause* That just barely skirts the line between troll / sarcasm / and insight. I love it. Go PhysicsGenius, go!

I would say the whole whitespace part of the syntax can be a weakness at times...but thats more of a stylistic thing then anything else.
it does work in a console window
Just one little piece, of info, you can have X-style focus models, if you install MS's tweakui control panel applet.
mplayer -vo aa

I believe they called them "Dreamcasts". Can't play DVDs though.
Huh? Will someone please mod that down.
Sadly, I think I would actually watch Channel 54.
Squaresoft might have something to say about that...
Well, I thought it was funny. If I had mod points...
Have fun transliterating "muggle" into the cyrillic alphabet.
