Yah, MacBook Air RAM has integrated onto the logic board and cannot be removed or upgraded.
Makes sense that a tablet would be similar.
Cheers,
Joseph.
I can't strongly enough recommend the book Pale Blue Dot also.
Specifically the Audio Book with Sagan himself narrating.
Listening to him describe what is clearly his passion and lifes' work is fascinating and very informative.
I re-listen to it at least once a year.
A+++ Will listen again!
Yep, I've cleaned my MacBook LCD weekly for a year with IPA, it works great, and has had no detrimental effects at all. I clean the whole machine with IPA, great for getting fingerprints off black MacBook plastics.
Whilst I realise you're joking, but I was a bit disappointed this morning to discover in Tiger (10.4.1) under Network in a Finder window... "My Network". Argh.
I purchased Hail to the Thief when it was released here in New Zealand. I didn't realize until iTunes was half way thru ripping it, that it was indeed a copy protected CD. It didn't make any difference to my good old G4. Go Apple.
Likewise. Once upon a time when I owned a PB G3 (Wallstreet) I had applecare for the full 3 years. I had my modem replaced twice, and when problems persisted, the logic board replaced also. When I bought my G4, just over 3 years ago now, I purchased the extended applecare but did not require it. So... It's insurance. If your machine craps and it's not under warranty, that will suck. Especially for a portable, whose components are sure to be more expensive and more difficult to replace.

Oops. Didn't mean to submit that quite yet, What I am suggesting, is that (relative to a Space Shuttle and Launch facility) the space elevator would have very few parts, thus surely it would be very reliable.
Interesting point, really. I googled Schindler, and found here http://www.us.schindler.com/SEC/websecen.nsf/pages/maint-parts-01 that they stock 85,000 various parts.
In New Zealand (vodafone) I estimate that 10-20% of my messages do not arrive. I never get notified. I always get charged ($NZ0.20c).
This happened to me this morning.
If only! Telecom ( New Zealand ) has, without any warning or decrease in service price, restricted P2P access to all their DSL customers. I pay NZ$100/month for my home phone line, and a crippled DSL account (128k data speed) Telecom have also recently introduced a 5GB/month data cap. These changes have been made during the time I've been a customer, but of course, there's been no price change.
well, I only thought about this for a few minutes, but here goes...
the library of congress has 532 miles of shelves...
532 miles=
850 kilometres=
1 book = 1000 pages = 5cm
20 books per metre
20,000 books per kilometre
17,000,000 books.
each book has 1000 pages.
each book requires 5 MB @ 500kb/100 pages (test word doc)
so...
17,000,000 x 5 mb = 85,000,000 MB
= 85,000 GB
= 85 TB.
therefore 1loc = 85 TB.
therefore 17,000 DVD (@5GB)/ loc
therefore 1 DVD = 0.0000588 loc
however, I could be waaaaay off.
Ahoy!
Hey, some of us suffer from RAS Syndrome, you insensitive clod!

How do you know when the drummers' riser is level?
When he drools from both sides of his mouth.
How do you know when there's a drummer at the door?
Because the knocking speeds up.
An some sap paid US$305 for it! That's more than I earn in a week.

Excellent!
The movie is being referred to as... Buy Another Day.
