I don't how you are going to pay rent or property taxes without income and income earned by a US citizen is taxed by the federal government hence the need for a SSN and you have to file a tax return where you have enter your address. So to be free of telling them your address you must make no money and own no property. Because this seems, like a highly unlikely set of circumstances. Is there something I am missing?

Cost per mile will also have assumptions. For example how much is a car that has 30,000 miles on it but is ten years old. I bet it is less then a 1 year old car with 30,000 miles on it. So to calculate cost per mile you would have to assume a millage per year rate, I think 12,000 would be about correct. It would worthwhile to factor in the battery replacement cost and maintenance versus petrol powered Elise and work out a price per mile cost, just to see our viable a test this is. Given the limted volume perhaps depreciation should excluded as it would be hard to calulate and with a super high purchase price I am not sure if it would be lower if it were produced on a larger scale.

Here in California everyone seems to use driers despite having great weather for clothes lines. I guess energy is cheap and everyone is rich. Another thing that I think would work great in CA is solar water heating. Solar water heaters are so simple and given the weather I think it make a huge difference to the power bill.

The movie in DVD quality is take about 3-5 minutes before it starts playing (HD seems to take over 2 hours, longer than I will wait) typically my wife and I prepare pop corn get ourselves comfortable and then it is ready to play.

I suspect the Apple TV works in a similar fashion and I wouldn't be surprised to see the PS3 have the capability as well.

I see all of these mainly targeting the rental industry just like Comcast on demand service does. I think for owning digital copies people will require a mechanism for backing up their media files.

This was quickly shown to be untrue when I clicked a banner advertisement for the 1st and last time. It looked like it had attractive memory prices but alas it was US only. If it had said it on the advertisement or I wasn't taken in by the hype of the global market place I wouldn't have been disappointed.

It seems the commerce part is still behind piracy in its global reach. I guess I was naive not to think that taxes customs and varying consumer laws and localized distribution rights wouldn't stop this.
