    I agree. I want the nice boxed set. If I want to see the movies in the meantime, I can always go rent them.

    I agree. If you have a good enough relationship with your boss, then you can talk about why you were considering leaving the company and the fact that you'd rather not leave your current position. I also agree with a few other people's opinions that you should only stay if you do in fact like your job. If you feel that a change is more of what you're really looking for (and the additional cash flow is just another plus), then go for it.

    Personally, if I liked my job enough I'd take the counter offer from my current employer. If there were going to be any ill feelings, then your boss would never have made the counter offer in the first place and shown you the door.

    For me it hasn't been a question of liking my job. I have bills to pay. I'm happy to collect my paycheck at the end of the week and live with a bit of dissatisfaction.
