we live in chicago, which is very flat, so I doubt it's been a problem here, however, this trailer has one of the best hitching systems I've seen by the way it makes a very solid connection to the frame at a higher point then most production trailers I've seen which makes it easier to handle both on and off the bike. I would also assume that controling your speed on the hill would be all you need to do- I'm sure the manufacturer could answer this question much better, but I just checked their faq and there isn't anything about hills in there.

you're right- I voted for nader last time and I'll probably vote for Badnarik this time. but, and it's a big but this year, I live in IL and we have no risk of electing bush in this state- which is where my vote ends. unlike gore, I actually like kerry a lot more then bush and want to see him as president. also, seeing as I never felt 'a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush' was anything more then a bunch of bullshit. people try to tell me that my vote in IL, which gore won hands down, was wasted and that I helped bush get elected. rather, I feel that I'm giving a voice that needs to be heard via the third parties of this country.
I always felt that the majority of the third party voters would not vote at all if they didn't agree with the candidate they were voting for in the first place. Hince, a lot of nader voters, including myself, were not inclined to vote at all if not for nader and I would think it's stupid that they vote for bush due to bitterness.
Nader has just let himself become part of the repulican machine this election season and it's pretty frightening.
I hope the best man wins- but we both know that rarely happens....

if the military was actually held to following any quality control, then this would not be an issue at all and none of the original documents would have been 'misplaced' at all.
to even think that these standards were upheld by everyone, especially during a time of war, is a little silly.
besides, I would hardly describe the author of the memos as 'administrative staff'.
I would also highly doubt that all branches of the military used the same procedures for something as simple as a memo.

2. Claiming that there was no such thing as a superscript "th" on 1972 typewriters is nonsense. IBM Selectrics had dozens (maybe even hundereds) of ball-shaped typewriter heads for various fonts and functions - and superscript "th" were common. As this is probably a typewriter used at a fighter squadron, and squadrons are always named something like "123th", they would certainly have chosen a type head that had a superscript "th" to make reading such documents a little easier.
I actually remember a lot of these details from the eighties when I was taking tying and business classes in high school, but this person put together the information much better then I could have from memory.
