Sorry if I'm coming across as cynical or mocking but a list of projects counts for squat. At least with degrees & certifications you have someone saying we attest that individual "X" has displayed the ability to perform "Y" functions and is entitled to be certified with "Z" credentials
Experience without credentials is like driving with someone who has no licence sure he says he knows how to drive a car but in the end do you really know and would you really trust them?
In the end you need to have sufficient experience aswell as a degree/certifications

It is highly illegal in Australia. You will loose 3 out of 12 available points from your licence and receive a $180 fine.
Mobile phones should not be used whilst driving at all. Just today I saw some young person on her phone whilst driving her car she was so engrossed in what the other person had to say she mounted the median strip in the middle of a busy road doing 60 k's an hour. Is the phone call so important she risked causing an accident???
I mean jeeze how hard is it to pull over to have your all important life changing phone conversation?aver
In the case of "droids vs clones", who really cares how many were killed on each side because more could always be wheeled on - the first trilogy turned warfare into something very sterile and remote whereas in the second trilogy we saw and felt genuine loss, whether it was an X-Wing pilot, Hoth infantryman or an Ewok.

It's all good and well to read this but if any of you work in a company that receives technet and MSDN kits in the mail from M$ then you would know that what you are reading is pitched towards sales consultants. This sheet comes on a nice piece of carboard for a companies sales staff to read it's basically a response card. Companies here about this Open Office and speak to their IT vendor who promptly (for profit reasons)says oh but these are the reasons why you should use MS Office he rattles off what's on the card and low and behold they believe him because OO.o has done nothing for their company and they've been using MS Office for years so they don't care. If it gets the job done they will use it most SMB's can't afford to test a whole new system and will seek professional advice from their supplier who happens to have an interest in keeping them on software they can charge large ammounts for of course sales people are going to sell M$ could you imagine how shitty you'd be if someone sold you OO.o for $200AUD for the package sure it costs a fraction of the price for MS Office but when you found out you could get OO.o for free you'd ring up and abuse the vendor and cease to deal with them.
Basically it comes down to a few things
SMB's don't want to research IT products for themselves it's a waste of their resources.
They want something that can access the files their colleagues/clients send them.
Vendors want to make money but not seem like bastards.
Open Office is great for those that sell services it sucks ass for those that sell products. This document is simply microsoft giving sales consultants tuition it's all being taken out of context
AOL has blocked a huge portion of I.P addresses in Australia like 61.8.0.0 has been blocked off or something insane like that so AOL is no concern of mine if our clients have to contact AOL users we suggest they try hotmail or yahoo mail for those clients as AOL refuses to remove the ban.
Now that's outrageous
Ok that's just wrong we shoudln't start F'ing around with the human genome next you're going too be able to determine the sex of your child. The only case of genetic manipulation that should be allowed is being able to select the type of bone marrow for it too be compatible with your first child or a parent otherwise NO GENETIC F'ing around
