What happened to support linux? sounds like you are all on the steve jobs bandwagon instead of helping linux to kick their rick-white ass. linux is helping the world to change to become a better place... not OsX which is there just to serve corporate needs and make white america a richer place.
apple really sucks - who cares about their crappy hardware anyway? they should stick to mp3 plaers for yuppies, and stop harrasing decent people - seems like the only thing they have managed to do right...
reality is apple no longer encourages 3rd party developers on their platform... they have a 'holier than thou we can do it ourself' - open source is all about collaboration and if apple wont help then why should anyone help them?

Apple is #1 for their great innovation of having been the first to create the 'mp3 player' and the 'ipod killers' are at the top of the loosers list... what about all the really cool media devices? iRiver plays back MOOVIES as well as music... not just stupid photos, and where is the Sony PSP? The PSP is REAL innovation... games, music, videos, wireless, everything in a handsize package...
Ironically, they also have the ipod u2 edition for sale at the bottom of the page... just another bunch of Jobs dick suckers if you ask me.

Instead of a new Intel P4 system... i got dual 3.6ghz procs for christmas which i overclocked to 4ghz each giving me 8ghz of pure power! So i dont know about you turkeys, but im close to 10ghz over here...

Really sad, I'm think i'm moving to Europe where people are friendly, intelligent, and 90% of the population isnt over 250lbs
Os X is way cool, but its really just a cool gui on top of a unpopular unix... with only 5% marketshare and a handful of apps.
Lets face it, linux rules when it comes to unix, and the future - so why isnt there a os-x on linux project out there? Nautilus was ok, but I really wish my redhat 7.2 had a window-manager that looked like a aqua.
We know apple doesnt mess around when it comes to lawsuits, but I thought the apple vs microsoft lawsuits proved that you cant copyright a interface? If Winblows can do it to Mac... Maybe the guys over at 2600 can help us out here...

Forgive me if I am wrong, but the upcoming OpenML libraries are going to change a lot of whats going on here.
If the industry supports OpenML like is does OpenGL then software programmers like us:) will be able to focus on OUR CODE and not have to worry about low-level media calls and having to use several different cryprtic media libraries just for multiple platform support!
The Jahshaka project is moving to OpenML, so you can be sure that you will see OpenML video cards hitting the market real soon...

I have been developing jahshaka for over 1 1/2 years now and would like to find out how i can get some cash to help move the project ahead...
