Oracle has good features too. It is just from a different time and era. Marketing experts have always praised their paper-based advertisements. Maybe someone should collect something like that as well. Why not? People seem to think obsolesence is the kiss of death. Or that nothing is ever obsolete. They don't see the obvious middle ground.
Well, it may not matter in the long run, other than to incur unnecessary costs from mishandling.
There are Marriotts that are not Starwoods and vice versa. A savvy traveller could piece together their own rewards program by clipping coupons. I doubt the hotel chains like that sort of thing, but they are choosing that by being obtuse.
Yes. I also wonder how exactly they would know who their customers are?
Some customers are rewards members and signed up in one way or another. I suppose by checking in with a credit card you might have become a rewards member by default. Others are just people who may have paid cash for a room on vacation and aren't rewards members at all. Those people would not have been affected no matter how often they stayed at a Marriott. Why scare those people?
Wow. This got a lot of comments. I wonder how long it would take to read them all. At least the better side of hours. I'm thinking I can live without that. I'll look for the cliff notes.
That's true. There is an old story, I don't know if it's true.
NASA spent millions making a pen that would write in space. It was very difficult to get the ink to flow in zero-gravity.
The Russians used a pencil.
...then it violates the first of my dietary rules, of which there are at least a few. The most important one is don't serve novameat before the appetizers are out.
Ha! More like $400K if you want a school where you don't have to walk in the cold to every class, eat who knows what in the dining hall and live in the middle of nowhere. Is that worth the extra $200gs?
The medical community wrote the book on advertising, given they deal with all the pharmaceutical campaigns and have a strict code of conduct. Are all students aware of just what they are passing on through their feeds? No, but many of their fellow students are, and the teachers are certainly paying attention. In all, this is probably the group of least concern for instagram usage. Other kinds of students? Well, it depends on their school and community, but it is still pretty common and the ads are generally ineffectual. More of a problem is targeted ads, having little or nothing to do with mainstream or mainstream social media, just as it is a problem for the rest of the population.
I'm not talking more about what a group of home users thinks is going on in the news and then decides they should have something too. That is completely different from a home user who happens to have a device they use differently from a professional. Kind of like wanting a yacht because other people have one versus having a sailboat but never using the sails.
You are right. What nice people have to deal with.
LOL what will they do next?
I cannot imagine they have thoroughly vetted this. Send them on their way

That is the most intelligent comment I have ever heard.

On a popular website, if at all. Hurry! It's almost Christmas!

and definitely don't order it at all if they try to give it to you before you even get through the front door.

If this is what I think it is (we call it meat impersonation back home) I know the reviews would be negative. Or is it something else?
Israel does that too, but we don't call it espionage
or 19 in Canada or whatever the drinking age is
LOL this is also why you should only meet women at a local bar. At least you know they are 21 and live nearby and you probably have friends in common.

Thank you - I did too
Good call!

Wow. I thought maybe just belonging in that jail for life was harsh enough.
Yes, very nice and not even any side bars for eidfication. Can we get back to talking about multicore 1.44GHz processors now?
They wouldn't even forgive you for that typo in Saudi Arabia
lol it does not elaborate at all. Is that why its generating so many comments?
