    Except, in this case, the country is Canada, and its official languages are both French and English. Quebec has decided to promote one over the other. However, any Canadian should have the right to speak only English.
    To follow your analogy, this would be like New Mexico deciding that you can't go to an English school, but to a Spanish one.

    Let's say, an ARM processor consumes x Watts.
    Others consume y Watts.
    Now, a significant percent of the consumed energy will be dissipated as heat. In the case of others, it would be in the order of (0.4 y) to (0.5 y) (I'm being conservative).
    What the statement says, is that x (0.4 y). Which, of course, means x y.

    and this is not the standard "this will help everyone see how flawed the system is". No, this is actually good.
    Why? Because the technology to do what this man has patented is way in the future. Way, way in the future. I'm talking 30, maybe 50 years here.
    And the patente will expire, safely, in 17 years. See where I'm going?
    By the time scientists are actually capable of working on an ethical A.I., the concept will have safely and unarguably fallen into the public domain.
    I don't think that's what this moron intended, but that's what's gonna happen.
