Almost... when I wrote it, I didn't know about that trick. I figured the parameter was an md5 string, and gave instructions on how to use that. But soon, I wrote a small script to turn the result of a URL search into an RSS feed, something del.icio.us itself doesn't yet provide. I never thought it would make slashdot though - not really prepared for that at all!
.node is multilingual (french and english for now) and we certainly appreciate the subtleties of your language. Buzz me if you want to have a good peek inside. Subscribing to.node gets a blog, a foaf file, forums, calendars and a bunch of communities. Oh, and I heard people hung out there too:)
Right now, Sun is acting like a headless chicken, running into Microsoft and one end of the court, pecking its way back into the Free Software side. It's ridiculous, really.
Gee, why are the pages so small? The printer version is much easier to read. Anyway, for the latest word on mozilla's support of css3, don't miss Anne Van Kesteren's report available since Wednesday May 19th, 2004.
I guess these guys must know what they're doing, their press release hit google news. But do they really? Search for "Corporate Structure teaser text here" and let me know what you think...
parent post doesn't deserve -1. I made a mistake in my original post, using the word "ban" where I should have said "deprecated temporarely". Worst part is I have mod points but obviously already commented on this thread.
When I saw this on Ars Technica yesterday, I was going to put another mark on my slashdot ESP - I was sure to see this come up. Oups, I forgot it in one of my 50 browsers now open...
"We want to be artist-friendly," says Steve Simon, a Clear Channel executive vice president.
Hmmm, crispy. I just hope not everyone will run away scared by this. The patent will hopefully be invalidated, or shown not to cover the whole process.
I'm not too surprised to see slashdot getting scooped. I even started a category on my weblog called Slashdot ESP, for my Extrasensory perception skills. Of course, this time I cheated a little since I submitted this story myself...
Just wait till he finds a nice lady and they start popping kids. If he ever moves out of his parents' basement in Finland, he's bound to attract a lot of females, just look at his cute face:)
Last week I wouldn't have known what a "Kinkaid" was, but since I have found diction and style for my debian installation.
diction can compute the Kincaid Formula, Automated Readability Index, the Coleman-Liau Formula and a few more indexes.
It would be a simple matter to incorporate those sources into OO.
Gigablast runs on eight desktop machines, each with four 160-GB IDE hard drives, two gigs of RAM, and one 2.6-GHz Intel processor. It can hold up to 320 million Web pages (on 5 TB), handle about 40 queries per second and spider about eight million pages per day. Currently it serves half a million queries per day to various clients, including some meta search engines and some pay-per-click engines.
I also read it was going to expand it's index this year, but I wasn't able to find where I read that.

Actually, this was announced two weeks ago.

and getting car sick? No thanks! I rather be starring at something that's not travelling at 100km/hour.

You're right, I replied too quickly with poor wording (like now :)
Still, the presence of a lot of those songs on such a list is "questionnable" to say the least. But Clear Channel knows what's best for us I'm sure.
They're the ones that banned a bunch of songs from their huge army of radio stations after 9/11.

île sans fil from Montréal was at BSDCan too, and I heard it was great fun! Now if we could get a Linux Expo or something in Montreal, that would be great!
You probably want to try mozex or the actual kitchen sink...

It's been tentatively forked already.
Yes, I'm only kidding.

There's another word for DRASTIC OVERKILL and it sounds a lot like a coffee...
