Try to be a little more sensible. People with motor related disabilities have some troubles keeping a botton pressed down while at the same time moving their mouse. With "right mouse drag" he means start draging with a right click, move the mouse without holding any button and use another right click to stop the draging and release whatever you were trying to drag.
Oh yes! He bring an stop motion animation director to do the actual and tedius frame-by-frame filming, but this is his child, that's why my spetial edition DVD says "Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas" on the title.
Well, I would mod the FP informative had I any points left. Some times the article description isn't very clear, or it's to biased to make my mind on if I want to read the article or not, in those cases I read a few post first.
This is true. First, I'm a long time FPS gamer since the days of Castle Wolfstein 3D, but I don't remember feeling nausea since Doom I, I think my mind just get used to it.
I can play UT2k4 for hours! I even remember a 6 hour session just a few weeks ago when Counter Strike: Source Beta was made available to ATI Bunddle holders like myself: No nausea whatsoever!
My first HL2 session came allrigth the first 2 hours, just after that I begun feeling nausea wich I attribiuted to my not so fresh lunch. After an hour of the nausea I finally gave up and take some pepto and went to bed.
In the next session I played for an hour and reached the canals chapter, just 15 minutes of slider acction make myself sick! So I begun to connect the dots, this time there were no chance the food was to blame. The admosphere in the game is pushing the limits of inmersion, it's some kind of cool to feel the nausea like in the old doom days.
MGS2 implemented close quarters combat ANIMATIONS, which you initiated by the complicated maneuver of pressing a button. This time they expanded variety and interactivity of the encounters with the help of a military advisor.
... My wife belived that I've give up spending money on console games, I was just wating for StarCraft Ghost and this baby, 1 of 2 so far. (I know halo 2 was a 'must buy', I just don't have an X-Box)
Half Life 2 is a "NO CD" game straight out the box.
The authentification is online and has nothing to do with cds. I know there should be some preatty good crackers out there working on some of this sold-early copies but so far all the game cracking they have done was just figure out witch of the 6 or so cd auth. methods is been used and debug (trace) the code until they can found the callback function for the (usually) thirth party auth, dll.
This is a whole diferent scheme, I dont say it would be imposible to crack, for valve to claim that would be only an ecouragement for the really really good hackers that work out of love for challenge to solve the auth method sooner, but beating piracy for a few weeks is a major advance in my book.
Not that they are all that beter than their 32-bit versions but you can have some 64-bit gaming on FarCry, Shadow Ops: Red Mercury and UT2004. There should be some others on the mill. Does any one can complete this list?
Thanks for that, god dammed Websense blocks the "game" category for me. I'm unable to read most of the articles referenced by games.slashdot.org. I used to catch up on my home, but reading slashdot on my home computer seems so wrong.
mmm, I would reply to your post in an extensive-doctoral-essay maner, but I need to finish the turtle rock dugeon on my GBA, and get some work done before lunch time, so... just imagine that I'd done it ok?
They (XP and 2003) don't run the OS as an API? could you clarify more on to that? maybe some links to help me out to figure out what are you tlaking about. Thanks in advance!
Must be a 9800 specific problem, or maybe it has something to do with your mobo because I'm running the 4.9 beta drivers with no problems for UT2004 on a 9600 pro. What are your AA, and AF settings? I'm still on Direct X 9b, have you installed the 9c?
What's up with that "48 free hours" link? The url is completely wrong:
http://slashdot.org/www.worldofwarcraft.com

All other mass media is getting to know penny-arcade through "Child's Play". I Don't get how this article overlooks that.

Like Homer Simpson wold say:
mmmmmmhhhh.... Chocolaaaaate.
You are not very talented in recognizing sarcasm aren't you?

And it would be even better if they cut down the acid trip plot twists this time.
