I agree that health care cost is "the" problem and it is not being addressed. But the problem is that private health care wants to charge what the market will bear instead of making a reasonable profit. There is tort reform already in Texas and California and private health care saved a huge amount of money as a result, but did not pass any of those saving on to their Customers. Health care costs the same there as anywhere else. There needs to be changes that private health care cannot game like a Public Option or drug re-importation if the cost trend is going to go down.
actually, if you are a lawyer working for Google this has to be really fun. Google is providing information to not just win, but to stomp viacom mercilessly for weeks. Lawyers enjoy about nothing else more than that.
better technology is not the measure if it will succeed. All you have to do is to look at the wreckage of all the better standards that fell by the way side over the years to understand that.
That is naive. When you torture you get lots and lots of information and the person being tortured will contradict themselves in minutes. When you compare the sets different people may repeat the same bad information. It is a very bad way to collect information, especially compared with good ways to collect info.
Maybe they do not want to lose in the Norwegian Supreme Count that would allow invalidation of ACTA if it is ever implemented in its current terrible form. Governments should not be involved in a the failure of a business model. Organizations like the RIAA need to stop treating their Customers like Criminals.
I stopped buying anything from EA when they started doing things like this and I did not buy Bioshock 2 because I heard 2K was going to start doing this. Glad I did.
if you know some of it is incorrect, how will you be able to use any of it? If you are making decisions with information collected this way you are going to fail.
A failed business model is certainly not a priority of the US Government and Obama needs to be forcefully reminded of this. People are dying in foreign wars and in our own hospitals. There are certainly lots more important issues that need to be addressed
Other underpowered devices like the iphone are not being considered so it does not make to worry about consoles. If you think a metric with Duck Hunt in it is an accurate representation of the market that is pretty sad. Almost no metrics consider MMO sales/subscriptions, which is where PC gaming has moved to.
When comparing medical costs in the US to other developed countries, they are about 40% more. So if the care had been in another country it could have cost $400k instead of $618k. Something else that should be discussed, examined.
No it has not. When a company refuses to take care of their Customers there is usually another that will. People will just spend less with these companies that insist on doing things like this.
I cannot see how 3D will be any more than a gimmick like it was in the 70s without some huge leap in technology, which has not occurred. There is a huge change in the way content is being delivered to people's homes with internet only programming and it would seem there would be a whole lot more opportunities in trying to make it easier for people to view it on their TV along with regular cable and broadcast programming.
I cannot believe Apple did not learn this lesson the last time in the 80s. They were in the drivers seat with the PC and they refused to let anyone develop any software for it. Well, everyone gave them the finger and now almost everyone uses a Microsoft OS (although I am glad that is finally changing). Looks like Apple's need to control every thing and try to sell all the software themselves is catching up with them now that Android is out.
"Canada's health care bill is over $5,000 per man" And that is a lot less than the US. US GDP% spent on health care is 17% vs Canada's 9%.

if the account has a viacom ip address or a marketing company ip address and there is a pattern it will be pretty evident.

I don't go to see the movie.
This headline is just wrong. Hollywood's failed business model is a threat to their own profits. It is nobody's problem, but theirs.

Then feel free to post a retraction to your very naive statement.
information gained from torture cannot be relied on as the person tortured will reach a point they will say anything to get it to stop.

consoles don't count.
or maybe the microsoft brain washing of their developers is working too well...
wake me when that is Linux, Windows, and Apple cross-platform. Windows phone and the xbox are just underpowered computers with microsoft os.

Funny that the BBC is less biased than Murdoch's yellow journalism too.
It is pretty obvious to me that Anderson is only doing this study to play video games and get paid for it.

Read up on the Macintosh.
