We already have that.
But instead of massive tubes, it seems to be little flexible tubes. Some color coded, but a lot of them are grey.
It also seems to differ in that it does not move actual pieces of paper, but instead electronic representations of paper documents.
Can't remember exactly what they call it, but I think it starts with an e.

And why then did he not attack France and Britain? Operation Provide Comfort I & II, and Operation Northern Watch were also maanned by the Brits and French. (I was in Turkey for all 3, got the sweatshirt)
They were flying missions right beside us, each and every day.
hmmm...could it be that there IS a connection? Or could it be that no matter WHAT the US does, OBL would have done his thing anyway?
Keep your pants on. This is a shot at a 'target of opportunity'. Just a little softening up.
The main attack, when/if it comes, will be unmistakable.

It's time to let H1B recipients have the right to change jobs, demand more pay, and be treated like [american] humans.
Fine. If they want that, they can go get a valid visa, and come over here and apply for a job just like the rest of us. Don't sneak in through a loophole, and then expect the same level of assistance as a native, or someone who has done the whole standard visa deal.

No. Not mandating open source in all situations is NOT the same as defending proprietary solutions.
If a particular entity needs a particular tool/function, and that is (for whatever reason) NOT available in open source, guess what...an OS solution is NOT the best choice there.
Corruption is a completely different story. Misuse of funds to buy tools that are not used is a travesty. Similarly, mandating open source (and hiring the people needed to manage it) and never using it is also a travesty.
The 'best choice' is exactly that. The best choice for a particular situation. Which may or may not be OS.
Means you'll have to be doing 50 or 60 in some spots to make it in the time limit. Too light a vehicle will break up off road at that speed. MTB size wheels won't make it.
If a large obstacle was encountered, Wouldn't need to be 'large' if the vehicle were small and light. A bush or fist sized rock could put it out of comission at speed.
I think it's really important that we get people to vote on the upcoming legislation directing government money towards open souce
No. Government money (our money) should be directed to whatever works best. If it happens to be open source stuff, so be it. If not, accept that as well.
Our company gave up its internal call center ops. Another company bought it lock, stock, and server.
They also made an offer to all the current phone people for continued employment. Not all accepted.
Now...we (I) had written a personnel database to manage the phone peoples schedules, hiring, firing. This included name, address, phone, SSAN, paygrade, etc, etc. The new company also bought this.
I get a phone call from the IT VP "Send so and so a copy (incl design, etc) of the personnel program. Including all the data. They want to get up and running as soona s possible."
"WHAT??? We can't give out all that personal information! What about all the people who did NOT join the new company?"
He pushed, I pushed back.

The head of HR The CEO The COO The head of our law firm and you (the IT VP)
Otherwise, I'll send them a sanitized copy. No personal data whatsoever."
After much discussion, they backed down.
I went over and installed the sanitized program.

The only problem is, this "war" was started 12 years ago, by Saddam, when he invaded Kuwait.
The intervening period has been a cease fire, of which he has daily violated the terms of.
We are now finally putting an end to the "war" started by Saddam.

Nope. Start with a Hummer. Eliminate a large part of the problems off the shelf.
LA to Vegas, 6 hours, off road. That's going to be TOUGH.
From the east edge of the LA metro area, to the southwest side of Vegas (the airport) is ~3-3.5 hours, on the highway.
Averaging a reasonable speed offroad, while avoiding obstacles, would be tough for a human, much less an autonomous vehicle.
