I am doing something similar or have been for a few months now at my website--NHF's Newbieized Help Files. Mostly targeted at newbies, but not neccessarily newbies to linux in general. For example, someone may have used linux for years, but never set up their own network in their home and they wanted to use ipchains. Then they would be a newbie to ipchains? Thats where NHF's come into play.
hopefully that will take a load off your back scoop.
btw fellow/.ers let the owners of these sites relish in their success....does customer service have to be 100% all of the time? they're only human:) Sensei
i havent been back in years but yes the iron dragon was and is lame:) except that hi g spiral at the end...the demon drop was the $hit.
i dont know of the newer rides (its been about 10 years since ive been back:) but i remember the gemini was a good ride as well.
im in florida and busch gardens has two rides--the kumba and another under the track ride that is intense. the kumba is one of the best rides ive ever been on hands down.
i consider myself a roller coaster enthusiast. six flags over georgia is a great park too if you get a chance check it out. Sensei
ive ridden the magnum and been to cedar point twice while visiting family in ohio...
that park is the best! the magnum is awesome and devil drop rocks too:). they also had the first ever under the track roller coaster called the iron dragon. Sensei
i thought the musicals were overdone...i would of liked to see more of stans uncle and ned.
they could've incorporated more of Chef's songs. however, like job katz said...this movie is political and it did have cleverly hidden messages hidden.
i thought it was great....if you want to see more genius at work go see Orgazmo...tre parkers first non-animated movie....its the funniest movie ive ever seen. Sensei
they see a threat to their market share and try to strangle it and kill that threat. hence this hype about nt being faster. too bad nt is not efficient for the administrator nor is it reliable. moreover, the need to reboot a web server for every litle thing you change or add is ridiculous--for businesses this can mean downtime and downtime=lost revenue for some e-commerce sites.
The SETI project is important...who knows what we may find with this much computing power all interlinked working towards the same goal. this is much more important then decrypting:).
i for one agree with miguel. the red hat bashing has gone on long enough or just plain overdone imho. i hope they continue to produce a quality product and their ipo should help;)
i plan on buying their stock, but good luck getting any before it skyrockets. Sensei
sob's cant get a damn thing done with iis. im completely frustrated working with nt admins...at least the ones ive worked with. im a web designer/programmer/technoligist by profession and i have been slowly persuading the admins to switch from nt and incorporate linux into our webservers/mailservers/printservers etc.
here are some statements that you can use to persuade your fellow nt admins: "you'll never have to reapply a service pack again!" "you wont have to reboot your webserver 600 times!" "your silly mail server wont get bogged down if the employees decide to send a nude santa claus to everyone on christmas!"
these statements have successfully worked in convincing the admins of another solution---LINUX
so by years end we'll be able to chalk up another company that is switching from nt to linux.
