    * Forward a complete copy of the message, including the full message headers to abuse@hotmail.com.

    Report Spam coming from a non-MSN Hotmail account:

    when was the last time you used Linux? Check out KDE 3 or GNOME they are sweeeet!

    It's not purely about how much, it's also about how good, and most Linux software is (imho) good. Before I'm going to write down a list of people that makes software for Linux, just check out sourceforge, download.com, tucows etc... you'll find a lot.

    Out of the box they mostly have far more beter support, and for most hardware you can get the drivers, only for those products-nobody-have-ever-heard-of-produced-on-ant artica-stuff you won't get drivers nowadays.

    And please if you reply, don't write down experiences of distros like RedHat 4.x, use a new one.

    Now, Bill Bliss - who runs MSN Search and was until recently in charge of the RealNames relationship, has in the last few weeks been moved to "Natural Language Platforms" and is charged with developing a variant of our system. The browser is now back under Microsoft's control and it is possible that - having learned much from RealNames - it will develop its own version of our resolution service.

    seems, nomather how bad the company may be, quite unfair to me. And this quite confirm one of my previous postings (http://slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=32467&cid=350 5128).

    Yes, Microsoft is doing a good thing by cutting RealNames off.

    They did, but maybe we'll soon hear: Microsoft have started a brand new and unique service for .NET, RealNames.net!.

    it's not the point that it's packaged, it's the point you MUST install it if you install Windows, afaik you can deinstall notepad, paint, disk defrag etc.. (well atleast with W98), can you deinstall IE? Nooooo.

    I'm 15 years too, and altough I don't live in the USA, it must be like hell over there. I know kids of my age who are beeing treated like an 5 year old (imho), like: "don't play that game, it's too violent" and "no don't play that game, it contains nasty words", those thing make kids (and eventually adults) people with absolutely zero understanding of the real world(TM).

    Puh-lease, it's not the game that makes people crazy, it's their own stupid self, it is because some people just aren't educated well, have an IQ of an chimpansee, haven't got right upbringing, beeing teesed, those problems are important and lead too way more deaths, crimes etc.. than computer games.

    no mather how good a patch is, some people will always remain unpatched/unupgraded. And some of those people also gets viruses and everybody gets irritated by that, I mean, everytime I check at someone's else's PC it ain't patched.

    I have a question, how do they think that they can complain or refuse linux? Linux is a better OS than Windows. I think that Microsoft test defame linux in front of the world.

    How can it be that linux goes up in a discussion about software piracy? Why did Microsoft mentioned it? It seems like shit to me!

    I have a idea, we should make sites of software piracy of Microsoft. It will give them a taste of their clean medicin(?)!


    I think Microsoft just wanted to look good by saying that they don't think that Linux is bad in a way nobody have yet complained to them about. But nobody (afaik) have made a comparison between Linux and piracy software so they are just saying something completly needless (and a bit confusing).

    BTW, this is a English site, so why can't you just write in a language everybody here understands (=English) and bother your fellow-french's at French sites with your French messages.

    Every times they think they can hang out the daddy/mummy, great if they don't let their childrens of 15 play games with blood (oh, no!), fine, but other most still be allowed to do so, you have to grow up one day you know. But me (15) I'll play them, gee, your 17, by law you'rn't allowed to play a damn shit and than y're 18 and suddenly you're flooded with porn, drugs, murders, jeez, it could go a litle bit more gradually, no strict borders (a kid is a kid until 18) but vague border, (this is allowed at 6, this is allowed at 7, that is allowed at 8 etc..etc..), thank heaven I live in the Netherlands (here I can buy a bloody game with bloody murder whenever and where I want, and that doesn't makes me a serial killer, so what?).

    Freedom of speech(TM) is that to much asked?

    E) a CD

    instructions

    1) trow the CD in the bath with water
    2) put on your safety gogles
    3) trow in the 5KG of natrium
    4) run for your live

    this experiment is not recommended when you live in a flat (your neighbours might complain the roof is falling down).
