I was basing that on the link provided above.

Also all the current HDTV satellite receivers have a down-rez flag that the provider can set. I don't believe they're currently using it, but I don't want to spend my money on a future crippled product.

Why did you go with register.com? Atleast
go with another competitor with a clue.
All my domains are now with joker.com. When
I had to change DNS, I logged into the web site,
and easily changed the server. I got a confirmation letter 5 seconds later, and the change was immediately evident at corenic.net.
One domain was still with netsol. It took two
days for the change to take effect. I immediately moved that domain to joker/corenic.

No kidding! Here in Austin, its only in restaurants, but its very nice. I was stunned
when I was in another city and the hostess asked me my smoking preference.

I'm the opposite. I already have my HDTV, but I won't buy a TIVO until it supports HD rec/playback.
Then put it in the mode with black bars on the side! ;-) The Toshiba mentioned above defaults to gray, but you can change that.
Why? Pretty much every pre-built computer does everything I want, so why not care about aesthetics?

Its always out of date by the time I see it.
I heard Phillip Glass play on Southpark and just wasn't that impressed.
