    What do you mean X4 doesn't allow you to specify a monitor clockrate?

    I still specify HorizSync/VertRefresh/HorizSync/Modelines to get the nvidia (from XFree, and Nvidia) drivers to work with my old multi-sync monitor.....

    Sprint uses the UP.Browser v3.1. The gateway
    converts a submit of WML 1.1 to HDML so these
    phones can see it. It won't do fonts / italics,
    and it wants to display regular BPMs instead of
    WBMPs, but it gets by.

    Is this the same lame patent that requires my digital cable box to come up to channel 1 two hours into the future?

    It used to work correctly (come up to the channel you're on at the current time), but they were forced to change it because they didn't have this "technology" licensed.

    It definitely was one of the reasons I recently put RedHat 6.1 on a spare machine. I don't have a CD-ROM burner and didn't want to wait for a CD.

    FTP Install over my cable modem worked just fine.

    Any other dists that allow this? I really wanted Slackware to be the same as my other boxes, but..

    I totally agree! Just the other day I was
    browsing etoys.com, and was very likely going to make several purchases this week.

    After reading this, I can no longer support etoys.com in any way. I will not be purchasing from them, and I will be sending them a note as to why.

    Sure its only $50 or so, but it doesn't take that many lost purchases to start hurting.
