So I'm on twitter and it seems I still follow slashdot. The tweet I see is this post. Now I remember why no one comes here anymore. It stopped being about interesting Open Source news, cool sci-fi info and other assorted "News for Nerds". It turn into a giant far left political hack site. It's a shame really.
-1 Troll... too funny. you people rate down that goes against your left wing beliefs. The FCC gets to regulate the Internet, are you naive enough to think that content isn't next?
As IBM is now our friend, I'd like to see them port the switch adapter and pssp to linux. Is the switch adapter PCI? I know the nodes are PCI but I can't remember if the Switch Adapter goes in a special slot or not.
As I am trying to do as much Christmas Shopping online this year as possible, I have already bought one present from etoys and was planning on a lot more. I chose them mostly because they are running linux, but this crap out weighs that.
There is a organization that puts computers and such in Children's Hospitals around the country. Maybe you can help them out or get some info to get yourself started.
This is like ticket scalping. Those prices can get out of hand as well, but there is a law in most states were you can only charge a small percent as a service charge (like ticketmaster charges).
Surely IBM can write a parellel version of httpd and blow away any numbers out there? When are they going to drop these silly standalones and market the machines with some real power?
Now if they could port PSSP to Linux, that would rule!

... your still lying.
Lying, cheating climate 'scientists' caught lying and cheating again. http://is.gd/JeNnWJ
better late then never!
Maybe they should pick a date when someone was successful at their mission unlike your friend Guido.
In other news... Greenpeace says LHC creates too much CO2
Funny Indeed, but why not... this crowd seems perfectly willing to trust the FCC.

When the FCC starts censoring content, you'll be sorry.
Did Steve Bartman become a programmer?

I wanted to see what my old school was running.
www.devalcol.edu is running Microsoft-IIS/4.0 on Solaris
How is this Catch 22 problem going to be solved?:
Developer: We won't port(or develop) our games to Linux because not enough gamers run it.
Gamer: I would run linux, but the games I want don't run under it.
Do you think we'll see more "offical releases" of games for Linux, or more of the unsupported ports (like Ultima Online)?
If these guys are "avid slashdot readers" would it not be easier to have them pick the questions for here themselves?

There should be a similar law on domain names.

I bet we would all love that!
