No, if all chip manufacturers support it, then we will have no choice! This is so bad...

Honestly, I didn't think the article was nearly as inflamatory as slashdot indicated. Linux HASNT caught on as much as the mainstream press expected, and the average person DOENSN'T know what ever happened to it. The article pretty much just says it as it is. No where in there does it say that Linux is dead.
Commercial SSH is so far behind OpenSSH in development - I'm sorry you just really aren't familiar with the subject are you? I am not sure about this, but Isn't the source to commercial SSH several versions obsolete?
*sigh* No, pocketpc 2002 is NOT the new name for WinCE, pocketpc 2002 and 2000 are an implementation of windowsCE 3.0. Windows CE is an embedded realtime OS that can be used for all sorts of things, PDAs being one of them. Think of pocketpc 2002 as a "distro" of CE3.0 with a special pocketpc gui installed.
If you are in Canada (which i assume you are not) You should order from http://www.ncix.com They are out of Vancouver and have great prices / 2 day shipping. Hard to find good stuff online without paying duty from the US.
Short answer is yes. In the ebuild scripts, you can just do a "make install" and use package defaults, or the packager can specify for instance "maninst, etcinst etc." to do for instance a manpage install with correct directory and permission structures. Very cool actually.

Well, thats a troll, but I'll bite. I am running it on production boxes and it runs perfectly. When portage updates are released I always test them out first on a test box though before blindly doing an "emerge --update world", but I would do that with Redhat if i was updating RPMs as well.
Its not that picky really - water should be frozen here too, its the greenhouse gasses that keep us toast-warm. Mercury is significantly more hospitable than venus despite being so close to the sun, and conversely, Mars could have liquid oceans with a bit of atmosphere. Also, concider the fact that venus is our closest neighbour and has probably the nastiest weather of all the small planets in Sol.
Argh this is such a common misconception. This is NOT A NEW, PROPRIETARY API like glide was, it is simply a high-level programming language that generates direct3d and opengl code so the programmer doesnt have to worry about it. This is fantastic! It also apparently will work fine with other chip architectures. Everyone wins!
I agree that the php.net documentation is actually pretty good, AS A REFERERNCE. I prefer to have a hard-copy text on-hand to explain how to do things step-by-step, and as a fairly novice coder I like to keep my O'Reilly Programming PHP on hand for walkthroughs and alternative methods, with php.net open in a browser window for quick function reference. Plus, I can go outside and lay in the sun with a textbook, like I am about to right now!
Well, Bowie is one of the richest entertainers in Britain (I think, actually, just behind Paul). An enormous amount of that money is NOT from royalties, but rather shrewd business decisions. I would concider him therefore very credible.

OK, the movie was from 1989, so the song (if it were that old) would be along the lines of "Its all about the two-eighty-sixes".

I'm actually in calgary as well, and Memory Express (www.memoryexpress.com) usually even beats NCIX price-wise.

No, he said absolutely nothing about "selling" it. Your example is flawed.
Shoot, that should be:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /
Little karma whoring here, but if you are not familiar:
Just make a file named robots.txt in your webroot and fill it with the following 2 lines:
User-agent: *
Disallow:
This will prevent any webcrawler that is compliant (IE most of them) from indexing your site at all. Problem solved.
Yes, it does follow robots.txt protocol. Therefore there really isn't a problem now is there?
Huh?
He recently claimed in some article (sorry - forgot where) that he never said it at all.
Indeed, its VVega, and pronounced that way. I worked at the Sony Store for a time and we got a memo from HQ regarding just that.

Actually you need a 486 to run gentoo, they don't support anything below that. 486 images are available.
Not at Walmart they aren't, I would argue. Time will tell i suppose.

Thats because Lucas couldn't afford coreography back in '77.
Welcome to the new new economy :)
