What's your point? The HP was vastly overpriced out of the gate. 99 bucks is about all it's worth. If it was so great then people would have bought it.
What's not buying Apple got to do with it? How many computers are manufactured in the US? I have a computer that was made in Pennsylvania but that was in the 80's and that company is gone entirely now. If someone still makes computers here I'd love to hear about it.
Exactly, when we cracked down on it here they just moved to where it was open season. I guarantee that Chinese officials are probably cheaper to bribe as well so the few regs they have are easier/cheaper to bypass.
Exactly! If I can use that hardware I'll buy it. If all I can do is what Sony says it's okay for me to do with it then they can eat it. I love the hardware specs. It's exactly what I want to replace my nokia n800. The screen is absolutely perfect and the quad core arm is great too. Plenty of RAM for a handheld computer. I'd pay 500 bucks for that if it ran Meego or, with that hardware, some form of Debian.
Exactly my point. They're both crooked. There is really only one party and that party is the Money Party. It's different money perhaps. The democrats are mostly Hollywood money and New Money and the Republicans are mostly Old Money but it's all about Money. Everything else is just smoke and mirrors to confuse and divide the sheep for the slaughter. All this finger pointing and claiming Democrat this and Republican that is just bullshit. If you vote for a Democrat or a Republican you can count on getting screwed. I have no hope though as 97 percent of the public are buying into the bullshit and choosing sides that don't really exist.
Which Republican governor was it who was trying to sell Obama's former Senate seat for cash......oh yeah...that was a Democrat, my bad.
You know....I have to admit I really don't like Republicans as they're mostly crooks....but then I don't much care for Democrats either as they're mostly crooked too.
So far I'm not sure of either of you but even though he may be lying, and you might be too, at least he sounds more intelligent. I guess I could go to the trouble to research this myself and find which of you actually knows what the hell he's talking about but I'm losing interest.
If you wish to make a mobile product you have two choices, you can either pay licenses for all the broad and obvious ideas that are patented in this field thus making it impossible to make a profit or you can ignore the patents and fight in court against them.
If he's gotten past security then it's a fail anyway. The aircraft is doomed. He'll take it up and drive it into a building somewhere. That's the whole point. If he can impersonate a pilot it's all over. If you concentrate on making sure the pilot is actually the right guy then you need do nothing else.
Yeah, they took the money....but they didn't take it then file for bankruptcy.
You do understand sarcasm don't you?
We're still making stuff.

Amen!

Products are worth what people are willing to pay for them. No more, no less.

You know, regulation of Foreign trade is one of the few things that the Federal Government is Constitutionally authorized to perform.
33,000 dollars?
You know you're wrong.
I can help you with that. Send me the money and I'll make sure it gets transfered properly.
The bad part is I understood exactly what he was talking about.
Maybe it's time to bring the shuttle back out of retirement?

Don't go confusing the issue with facts.
I hope you're enjoying whatever drug you're on. Limited government does not mean police state, it's the opposite of a police state dumb ass.
jeez...
I'd have figured that MicroSoft would corner that.
I need a rock like that.

The judges are already overworked. We don't need them wasting time in line. The lawyers on the other hand......
