  1. cyanogenmod is dead I've heard. What options are there going forward?

  2. You mean the Ubuntu bloat mentality I'm sure. It's a distro thing. Android is just another distribution.

Steve Jobs died and it's been downhill since. Considering how far up the mountain they were it looks as if it'll take another 5 years or so for them to fall to where Samsung is.

  4. They've put so much lipstick on it that the pig can't see where it's going. I've been using Android for a while now and it's getting more and more bloated. With every update my two year old phone gets slower. It's a shame that my next phone will have a cpu with twice the cores and almost double the clock speed of the current one but thanks to the pile of bloatware they ship on them it'll probably run slower, not faster.

  5. You can always just torrent the movie you want to see and run it through final cut and edit it yourself. It's ridiculously easy. I don't know how many movies I've seen that are fine for kids to view if you just remove the 60 to 90 seconds of "adult" content they slapped in to get an R rating.

There are such things as dealer options and as long as the auto makers get their money they could care less. I know if Chevrolet tried to tell me I couldn't get rid of the ugly wheels that came with my Yukon I'd tell them to kiss my ass.

I am allowed to censor what I see. I can choose, I have that right. You or the studios don't get to force me to watch what I don't want to watch. The first amendment limits the government from censoring. You can't really be that fucking stupid so I assume you're just trolling.

  11. You know, using this kind of ignorant, vile language puts you in the lowest class of all. Far below even those you disparage with it. Even the majority of people who are bigoted don't want to hear you spew this invective in a public forum. It's akin to taking a dump on the sidewalk.

  13. Yes. I did say most though, not all.

  14. I imagine his lawyer will use that defense. I would. Of course I think if they can prove he did it they should let him spend a few months in a cage with some other animals. I'm a little tired of the sick people on both sides of the Trump issue. Some of it was funny for a while but about 3 or 4 percent of those people are deranged for real.

  15. A week ban for threatening to kill people? That's it? Not a lifetime ban? Jeez!

That's odd anyway because most of the people hating on muslims seem to like the Jews.

  16. I don't get why people try to defend things by saying "what about what so and so did?" Who gives a fuck? That's not a defense for this kind of crap. I don't care about politics in this situation because no matter what someone's political views he's still entitled to protection under the law. Just because someone else got fucked over is no defense. There's no way on earth to justify threatening the guys daughter. This is tantamount to the stupid bastards that try to justify jihad because someone offended muslims by making obscene pictures of allah. One thing has nothing to do with the other.

  17. Which war is real? The one where Syria is killing it's citizens in droves? The one where we drop bombs on targets of opportunity here and there? It's not a real war, real wars have objectives. It's just a fucking slaughter house. Our soldiers shouldn't be in it unless we're committed to doing something. I can't believe we have any allies in the area considering how we've treated them.

The idea is to kill the enemy without getting killed. There are no points for style. We try to limit death of non combatants but if they're in the kill zone that's just the way the cookie crumbles. You fight wars to win because the alternative is something no one want to experience. American soldiers put themselves in harms way if needed but they are trained to survive while accomplishing the mission.

  20. He likes to draw lines in the sand. He drew a bunch of them in Syria but Assad kept wiping them out with his foot. Maybe he'll draw a line for Putin to scrub out too. No one has any fear of him, they know he's all talk. He can launch a few drones to blow up some goat pens in Pakistan but to actually take a shot at Russia? No way.

I think you're mostly right. But honestly I never liked Hilliary for years before this. I think the high handed way she and her campaign and the DNC dealt with Bernie did her some harm with a lot of Democrats. They didn't vote for Trump, they just stayed home. It's pretty obvious the leaked e-mails, and they were leaked not hacked, did her the most damage. The fact is though, other than moral support for Trump the Russians had zero to do with it. I figure they want Trump because when it comes to business he's pragmatic. Money talks. They know they can deal with him. I don't know what happened between Hilliary, Obama and Putin but not that long ago they were very cozy then things went sour. Putin gave Hilliary a lot of money and he received a nice Uranium deal but evidently she short changed him somehow.
