When i lived in Europe my brother was asked by a British photographer (Who happened to be photographing something in Germany) if he spoke the Queen's English. Confused as to why English would belong to the Queen, my borther relpied "No, I speak George Washington's English"
I would have to agree
As a student I am constantly frsutrated by the over emphasis on calculus(not that calculus is bad) and theory and the lack of emphasis on engineering. When I went to college I thought I would learn to write software in CS. Come to find out there are very few CS Departments whose goal is to teach software enngineering. they want researchers. It is frustratign to me becasue I know that 90% of us are going to get jobs in the private sector and we spend 90% of our time learning about academia. On the other side 10% of us wantto be researchers and we spend 10% of our time on software engineering. What is going on?
If its anonymous...how do you trust it?

If there is no identifying info, how do you trust it? if it doesn't connect to a database to verify itself, its got to be easy to fake...even if it does have a SMART card in it. And if its electronic its even harder than tracking a counterfitter...so my question is, how do I become an authorized refiller?
I could have a small("tiny")amount of respect for the guy if he was developing his own software. his "spam of death" or whatever it was). I mean I like hearing about people doing innovative stuff, not hearing about people paying others to do innovative stuff. This guy hiring some programmer in india (nothing against india) to write his softwae is really sad. Do it yourself yu moron. What obothers me is that his spamming takes no skill whatsoever. Just a little time and a few computers. A 5 year old could run his operation.
develop a central bug reporting site. A few dedicated people or moderators could take on the responsibility of passing all their bugs to the developers. But more importantly developers would have a one stop place to get bugs, as well as distributors. You could probably use bugzilla to do this. Even set it up to forward bug reports to the bugzilla site of each project automatically. Wouldn't this make it easier for users of software(especially non technical ones) to have a place to report bugs?
True, MS is losing tons of money on the box, but every console manufacturer since the dawn of time has been losing money on their console. The money is not in consoles, it never will be. Its in games. For every game you buy(even the ones not made by microsoft, microsoft makes money for liscensing. The key is to offset game profits by selling enough games. So the more consoles out there the better. Thats why ms (and sony) cut prices. MS may have a tough time making back the price cut if they dont sell enough games though. Something that has been tough for them.
Too bad model rocketry is now illegal or he just might be able to make them fly like he wants.
Even if you want everyone to be able to use it at some point(i.e. Open Source) PATENT IT!!!

It would be interesting to try this thru UPS and see if it ends up in the same place.

I think its time we find a leeader who is interested in preserving American Freedoms by some means other than taking them away.

Do you think the people who send out all this spam get annoyed at all the spam in their mailbox or are they proud of the work they do?
