    closer to equator - easier to get out? oh no! space travel and research - another american industry potentially to be outsourced. can u imagine a nasa logo stamped on space crafts made abroad and manned by outsourced astronauts - who are trained in nasa approved training programs - and who are just as qualified if not more so in some aspects as their expensive american counterparts.

    if the masses should feel abused then ultimately there will be a revolution. but it seems the severe standards that arise with the existing moderation system raises the bar on what is considered valuable and relevant. on the other hand if there are moderators with particular agendas then if u r in disagreement with them u could be a target for they unfair treatment.

    Open source is a beautiful thing. Incredible actually. I wonder where it will take us as a society. But if a business developes code it seems it would be necessary for it to keep it's code closed. Not for only business purposes but also for legal reasons. But like you said if it were open source, security and/or any other coding issues could be quickly corrected. What to do? I'm in business on my own, I make money for what I do. If someone or a groups of someones started offering the products of my business for free it would destroy me and others in the same business. The people that were giving away our products or services for free would definitely not be on our top ten list.

    Better looking than both Bush and Kerry, and all the post debate analysts. Debate night at least had something of intrest happening. It seems a shame such a nice piece of equipment went to waste assisting in the broadcast of the usual Democrat vs Republican showdown.

    Hopefully we'll get more music to listen to. But probably they'll just be ore radio stations for more people to talk about nothing. Democracy and the internet offer the same thing the opportunity for anyone to voice their opinion supposedly freely and without harm. Funny thing as kid you knew when to shut up cause if you didn't you knew you would get beat up.
